Good Quality Substrate
Easy to clean and use; its basically just a sheet of felt. We like to keep one in the tank, and one on hand for when we clean up in there, so we can just swap right away rather than have to clean it and wait for it to dry before replacing it. It's a bit large for our 40 gallon tank, but it can be easily trimmed to size or folded under. Pic attached showing our bearded dragon Fireball, and the product below him.We used to use a gravelly, desert-looking substrate, and while the look was really cool, it was difficult to clean because of the uneven, rocky surface. Also we would hose it off in our tub, and rocks/debris would be all over the place when we were done. No such issues with this. Does it look as cool? No. But you must accept the good with the bad, I suppose. :)

Solid Product
I love this reptile carpet. Particularly for my snakes and leopard gecko, this substrate really does seem to work the best and make for the easiest clean up. I've tried aspen, sand, pellets, tile, the whole gamut, and this does win out as my favorite substrate and I think my reptile's favorite as well. For bearded dragons this is probably not practical (they're too messy) - I use Zilla pellets for them. I also don't use this for my water dragon in favor of a substrate that holds humidity better but that's my personal choice. Highly recommend buying two of these for each enclosure you plan on using this in and switching them out after sanitizing them. That's the best and easiest system I've worked out. They hold up well to hand washing.

Hidden jewel
Most sites show coconut fiber as a great substrate, even for small geckos. A terrarium I ordered for my juvenile crested gecko came with the coconut fiber substrate. I caught Jake eating it the day after I put it in his house. I immediately removed it. He got impacted. Long story short and after several consults with vet and several days of soaking his body 3 times a day in water, he is fine. I finally found this substrate on Amazon and I love it. It's material-based so it's cushioned and comfortable for him to walk on. It actually feels like wool. But, there's nothing on or in it he could eat and risk another impaction. Easy to clean. I washed it and laid it in sun to dry. It came in a roll and large enough for me to cut about 4 pieces to use in his house. So, I always have a clean piece to put in when I change out the soiled one. My only question... why do more people not promote this for young geckos?

Great
This is a carpet type liner which is intended as an alternative to using sand or other loose substrate which can cause impaction if ingested. I brought this product to cover the sides of my bearded dragon's cage, so he wouldn't be stressed seeing his reflection. I found the liner easy to cut, and was able to attach with Velcro so it can be removed for cleaning if needed. My dragon seems happy with it - he likes to climb it and hangs there on it quite often. You can also use Velcro to secure temp probe wires etc on to it so they don't clutter the cage floor. The carpet is a nice color that fits the cage decor. It does not seem to cause any problems with my dragon catching his nails in it.

Combats odor effectively
I used this terrarium liner in my snakes cage, which is 40 gal. It fit perfect, but the best thing was how well it combats odor! My snake drinks a lot of water and this liner hides the rather foul odor of his urine! I have had other liners but this Zilla liner is the best!

BIG improvement for my bearded dragons
I use this in my bearded dragon terrarium. They had sand when I first bought them, and it could not be kept clean. They'd constantly track it into their food dish, and no amount of sifting could handle the food particles and waste. I switched over to this repti-mat, I'm happy and the dragons are happy! Every week I remove everything from their terrarium, shake this outside, brush it off, and it's good to go. I replace it every 2-3 months. No more sand in their food, and it's really easy to keep clean. It comes in a large sheet, which you can cut down to size to suit your needs.

Mistake at warehouse?
I needed a 40 gallon size but they only sale 50 gallon sizes. I bought it thinking I would have to cut the 50 gallon size to 40 gallon size for my tank but when I got the item it said 40-50 gallons. I opened it and it fit perfectly in my 40 gallon tank so don't buy if you need one for 50 gallons because they probably either put the wrong one in the box or mixed it up in the warehouse. Overall, I got what I needed with no hassle and the product is excellent. Just a heads up to anyone needing a 50 gallon rug size.

Great for bearded dragons!
I love these so much! They fit my bearded dragon's 40 gallon breeder tank perfectly (some other 40 gallon reptile carpets don't fit the breeder size tanks, check dimensions carefully)!!!My little guy seems to like them and doesn't try to eat them like he has constantly whenever I've experimented with various substrates.Cleanup is a breeze as they can be gently scrubbed with a cleaning brush and/or hosed off. They say they are machine washable but I never wanted to put them through my apartment washing machine.I wouldn't feed loose live feeder insects on this because they can climb under the sides to hide. When I fwd on this I either feed using tweezers or I carefully watch the food to make sure they don't get away from my beardie to hide.

Snake & human friendly for its ease of use, but also the price was ridiculously low (on sale)
I am extremely content with my purchase mainly because I bought it at a ridiculously low price. I got the 50 gallon in brown for less than $12! What a steal! Now I have so much of it that I can chop it up into multiple pieces small enough for my 10 gallon... I just bought a baby Mexican Black Kingsnake and this substrate is perfect for her. It makes cleaning her home so easy. You just swap out the used for the new and then wash off the used one to be used again. Basically I will do that for a bunch of rounds until I need to toss the used substrate out for reaching the end of its life. Then, I grab another new cutting of the 50 gallon and swap it in for the old substrate that was tossed. I’ll do this again and again. I’m not sure how long I’ll be using each cut of substrate - I haven’t determined a time. I’m going to leave that up to my snake, because it really matters how often she uses it and how much it is able to be cleaned. Anyways, like I said, I’m very happy with my purchase, not only because this substrate is the most snake and human companion friendly for its ease of use, but also because I lucked out with the price.

Perfect for Bearded Dragons
The media could not be loaded. I really love this product! originally I had purchased loose terrain for my bearded dragon, but I soon realized how unhealthy/dangerous that can be. This product is great because it is easy to clean, looks nice, is healthy, and well worth the money.I have been using it for three months and to clean it all I do is remove it from the tank and vacuum it. My bearded dragon is very happy and so am I.

Very good
It fit the tank I need for my dragon and it's harder to get to flatten out but that's the same with any great product would recommend also great alternative to loose substriaght to where the reptile or animal could digest and get impaction possibley
