Electrical Installation Calculations: Advanced 8th Edition

Sadly, I cannot trust this book, as editing and answers are either terrible and or incorrect. A complete waste of money!!! As early on into the book, there is a mistake. (See photo 1) 5x8x6 has changed to 5x8x4.Photo 2. Shows the answer for "question 4" This should read 9.82 ohms but the answer says 98.29 ohms.I am a student trying to learn domestic electrics, yet I have spotted these mistakes!!!! And I'm only on page 4 - 14 I think I can safely say, there are going to be a lot more mistakes that I might not realise are there, as I mentioned already, that I'm a student, so I will be throwing this book away "Poor show Chris and A.J"

Hmmm I wish I’d read the reviews about errors! I only got to Part 1 ‘use of calculators’ and spotted 2 errors which then undermines your confidence in everything else you’re reading! At the close of this part it has the cheek to say ‘practice makes perfect’ pity the author doesn’t practice what he preaches!

Hmm... Another book with calculations that I may not use but there are some gems in here. However, while I expected something for my bookshelfs, I got something that fits in my toolbox under my multimeter. If it was smaller paper I could use it for a coaster for my tea.

Useful for help me more learning about electrical maths for my course level 3.

Chris is my hero. He has forgotten more than I'll ever know.I instruct in Electrical Installation and he is the best. He has great videos on utube as well.This book is indispensable if you are a student.
