Tara is so raw, honest and empathetic
Tara is like the big sister I never had. My name is also Diana, like her younger sister Andrew I was born in 91. Thank you for being so honest and vulnerable. I've recommended this book to my closest friends! It's absolutely a must read for all women.

Are you someone who:
is feeling at your lowest? is struggling with being an overly independent workaholic who's bad at self care? scoffs at journaling? can't seem to date "good" people? Then you NEED this book. This book changed my life. Tara Schuster is both funny and honest. She tells it how it is, and by the end of the book you feel like old friends. This book changed how I feel about journaling. I KEEP A JOURNAL NOW. I have 100s of times tried to keep one, and only this book was able to change my view on them. I have read this book a few times now. (As an ex-gifted kid who used to read about a book a day, but can no longer read a paragraph this should already convince you) I first read this book in ONE sitting. I read it on a plane ride. I am a pretty private person, but everyone on this plane got to see a really personnel side to me very quickly. I laughed out loud. I sobbed. I jotted down 100s of notes. It is now dogeared, highlighted, and scratched in to the max. I simply cannot encourage you to buy this book enough. BUY IT. You won't regret it.

one of if not the best “get your life in order” self care find yourself books!
Thank you Tara. While most of the book including the ending Tara brings you along and thanks you, she has an amazing ability to draw the reader in, I felt like I was in so many of the chapters and was part of her friend family. Page after page was filled with inspiration, instruction, examples of self reflection as well as gentle reminders of the faults we face when we truly examine ourselves. For example, it was as though she’s right there with you personally, while you read and say to yourself I can’t journal, she counters it with so many valid reasons why, AND the excuses you are likely giving yourself that ultimately hold you back.I feel it’s important to mention that though some reviews mention the language, I was unbothered reading it, in fact I wouldn’t want it any different. Tara’s writing was authentic, often brutally honest, encouraging and uplifting. She speaks of glitter but there is no need to filter her words with glittery compromises of politically correct verbiage.Whereas I was reluctant to journal, I now can’t wait to begin. I’ve already screenshot, printed and posted on my walls certain advice she has given. It’s made me want to set up my “own little office” where I can write, reflect, learn and grow, a place just my own!Reading this book, at a time of my life where as a new widow, starting over, having to face the past and clueless about the future, I can honestly say Tara gave me hope, direction, and inspiration to make the rest of my life the best of my life.I ordered the kindle, and will be ordering the hard copy to gift. Thank you Tara, I’ve felt quite lost , despite self help books, therapy and other’s advice, after reading this all I feel now is nothing but possibilities, for the first time in a long time I feel I can conquer the haunts of the past, kick the friend enemy within to the curb and I’m actually excited about the years ahead , navigating my own self discovery and getting to my “Paris”. I highly recommend this book. Sincerely, Susan

This Book Changed My Life (in a good way)
This book changed my life. I will just start there.I have purchased not one, not two but three copies of this book. I have given it as gifts and read and re-read it.Tara has this way of making you feel like .. well we aren’t alone in this world and maybe sometimes it is okay to be just where you are. Life moves forward and we all grow (if we choose) and learn from our lessons. We can sometimes even laugh about it.I was in a place where maybe this book found me .. or I found it but either way .. it changed my life. I had just had a major break up, major surgery and then Covid hit the world and it was a bit much but ... I found some good in the bad. I started journaling .. and writing what I was grateful for and .. going for walks (couldn’t run at the time) and ... bought some thank you cards ... and life got a little bit better. This book put me on the path to some serious self love and .. becoming a better person.. so that I can make the world a bit better for the people I love. Tara’s book is humorous and there is a vulnerability she shares with the world.. I mean how many of us would write down our “stuff” and put it out there.. for the world to see.I don’t usually write reviews but this one is worth the time.We all have the choice to read books and maybe they will help us .. but In the end it isn’t up to the author to change our lives, it is up to us. They give us a little push and perspective in life. I will forever be grateful for this book. I will probably ready it a dozen times and gift it to more friends because I believe the message is positive and a good one and we should all go buy ourselves the fu$King lilies.

Loved this book and the premise of the title. Life is too short!
I read this in two days. It was written differently than other books like this. It wasn't a self help writing. It was comedic, intimate and just a good read. I do love the title but I couldn't read this in the open with my small kids:(

AMAZING
I found this book on the best sellers list. When I first started reading it I was getting kinda bored not ganna lie. But I thugged it out and told myself ima finish it regardless and see what the hype was about. SO WORTH IT! The way this author truly spoke to me about her struggles and I could relate opened up my respect for her and the way she composed this book. I felt for her struggles and shed a tear here and there because sometimes you forget that there are more people out there that you have no idea go through things. And Can possibly go through things you went through.. such a great read! Recommend!

wordy.
I really wanted to love this book. I love the idea of the book, and I love the general jist and points she make however the writing was a little too creative for me at times. There is only so much "funny" I can read until it starts to get a bit annoying. The attempt at making every section really "funny" or engaging was at times, just over kill. If it had been toned down, this book would be half as long! still a nice read, although I have issues finishing it!

*chef's kiss*
Really just spot on stuff. Loved the audio book and wanted to get my hands on the real thing because of the lists and to make notes in it, so got it shipped to Australia. So great.
