but the quality seemed good either way
We used these feathers as cat toys rather than decoration, but the quality seemed good either way. They all arrived in great condition with no breakage at all, and though some definitely looked better than others, overall they all looked nice and healthy with bright colors. I think you would need to group quite a few of these feathers together to get enough fullness for anything decorative, but each feather seems a lot fuller and a lot less sparse than feathers I have gotten specifically at pet stores before, so for our purposes they were great. They also last a little longer than pet store feathers I've purchased, so we get a lot more use out of each one before our cat tears them apart. We will definitely be buying these again when we run out.

Great! Great! Great!
I have bought a ton of peacock feathers online from many different vendors... every time I have been disappointed with what was sent to me. I found this seller and read some of the reviews and figured I would give it a shot. Let me tell you, I am glad I did! These peacock feathers are BEAUTIFUL!Now just to forewarn you, when the feathers came to me, the tops of them were bent to fit in the protective case. Once you get them, carefully take them out of the packing tube and one by one, give the feather a little shake to fluff it back up. Once I did that and some minor feather zipping (running your fingers over the feather fibers to get them to "zip" back together) they look stunning! The eye of the feathers are huge! They are at least 1" and bigger and the colors and brilliant! The feathers took only 2 days to get to me and I like that they were packed in a protective tube, not an envelope like other vendors use.I will be ordering from this vendor again.

Just what I was hoping for!
I'm so pleased with these, I ordered another set! I've had an empty vase on my mantle for 15 years, and finally decided to put something in it. Fresh flowers are out of the question; they have to be maintained and replaced. I decided on these feathers. They're perfect! They're exactly as described, very long, and arrived excellently and tightly packaged. There's not a dud in the bunch. They're very reasonably priced, and I'm thrilled! On the theory that more is more, I ordered a second set to fill out my vase even further. It's stunning!

My cat's favorite toy
I purchased a lot of toys for my cat, but this one is her choice and also all organic toy for her. I don't worry if she swallows a few feathers by accidently. The bright blue color will get her attention and keep her running to maintain her exercise routine. To be honest, my cat is really inactive.

For my cat, long and sturdy beats shorter and easier to thrash
While they look good in a vase, these were bought for cat play. My cat is brutal with peacock feathers, but the longer and sturdier type amuse him for a good long while. Next time I will order more carefully.

BEST CAT TOY EVER! At a terrific price.
I've spent big bucks on pet store cat toys, but I found the best toy ever at Michael's: peacock feathers. The quivering of the barbs (the thin individual threads that grow out of the shaft) intrigues them, and yet they can't get a hold since the barbs evade the cats' claws. The shafts are surprisingly sturdy. For my cat who likes to stalk, I pull the feather slowly, stop it a moment, pull slowly some more -- often pulling it under a blanket or cat tunnel, as if it were prey seeking to hide. He follows with his eyes, then tightens his haunches and pounces as it's about to disappear. Then it's a scramble as I move the feather's eye quickly, as if it were frantic to escape. For my cat who simply likes to pounce, I pull the feather swiftly, and she usually pounces as it's about to disappear around a corner or under a tunnel. Or I just swish it back and forth flat atop the floor or a bed, and she tries to nail it down with a paw.I paid $5 for five feathers at Michael's, but they recently raised their price to $7 for four. I was thrilled to pay $17 for 20 (now $15). The result will be many, many hours of fun. Thank you, Feather Mart. If they could, my cats would say so, too.

They're perfect for our use
i bought these for our cat. Our previous cat went bananas over a peacock feather we bought at the local zoo for almost as much as this whole set cost. The one from the zoo, though, was a pristine example, suitable for display or other artistic uses. These are not nearly that quality so don't think you're going to buy these and use them that way. They're perfect for our use, though!

Beautiful, Long Peacock Feathers
Very nice. A co-worker of mine used to keep peacocks on her ranch and I was given a bundle of feathers from there, although not all were as fancy as these are. My cats went wild for them. When they ran out (i.e., bent, broken, and stripped to the base), I wanted to replace them, but they're just too expensive at craft stores. These are beautiful, all eyes, nice and long, arrived in perfect condition, and for a much more reasonable price that the craft stores.
