Executive Power: 6 (The Mitch Rapp Series)

Good

The novel is a good read. It has all the elements of a spy novel and it continues the story from the previous edition. It showcases the threats, the dilemma and how the political situations tossed up unknowingly and how they are dealt. How everyone choses to play their cards at the right time. Overall its a nice read and very articulately written. Its also good since the author substantially reduced Anna's part and kept it very much limited to conversations between her & Rapp. Everything was crisp but the story would have even better but that's how Rapp raises the expectations on him after each outing !!!!

Though I like his style of writing.... It's just too full of details that I feel could be avoided.....I'm an ardent Daniel Silva fan....so perhaps I'm comparing the two in my head all the time.....but a good read none the less!

One time readable action thriller novel!

I bought this book at a book sale and wanted to give a try. Perhaps, it is a bad thing that this is my first book of Vince Flynn which is featuring Mitch Rapp for 6th time. Yet, this book is disappointing for several reasons major ones being that the celebrated Mitch Rapp doesn't seem all that charming, two unrelated missions, the book nowhere makes an attempt justify the theme of the story: "How can an undercover agent work when his cover's been blown?"Its all about politics, and may be comprehensive description of the details involved in executing a mission is the only good part I find in this.

Entertaining and riveting. Caught myself laughing out loud at the master assassin afraid of his bride as he tried to talk his way out of a mess he created.

Great series, have to finish it, couldn’t put the book down

Vince Flynn has an amazing craft for telling a story that takes you on an intriguing and very informative journey of life behind the closed doors of the US government and its security agencies. The level of detail he uses to construct the context of each part of the story is astounding. The way he pulls together the parallel scenes of the story is truly masterful.
