After a few weeks of ownership, i decided it was time for my review. I bought this camera for my wife as a bday gift towards the end of January. So far, the camera works great! it turns on and off with the car. we added a 32gb sony micro sd card and it still has footage on it from feb 26th!i was worried at one point it may have been broken one night when we left it in the car over night at zero degree temp but it did not break thank goodness.it is very easy to use and watch footage on the device or even transfer your files on a PC. The emergency button is a great feature as well. you push that button and it will auto lock save the previous 15 seconds and after so it will be overwritten. The emergency lock as saves that footage on impact. (which i cannot say we tested)I was at first a little worried about customer service because there is no toll free number to call, only an email. I reached out to customer service asking where i can purchase a second suction cup mount. Leo replied within a day and said he would mail me one for free and within 2 days, he did!!! That impressed me.the playback is great! the daylight hours are clear and vivid and the night i guess could be better but one night we needed to see footage of something that ran out into the road and it was clear enough to reveal it was a fox!my final thoughts for me are this camera is simple and will do the job well.just be careful of how you insert the SD card into the camera. if you insert the card the wrong way, you may end up damaging the camera permanently! read the instructions for reference. it has a diagram.

I tried 4 different cameras & settled on this one because the image quality was the best out of all I tried.I have 3 of these cameras & have been using them since February 2016.Overall they work fine. But they do have issues.1. Sometimes they say that there is something wrong with the SD card. They give a quick flash on screen & then recording turns off. While driving it's very hard to determine what the issue is, since the message disappears really quickly. SD cards are fine & have been formatted. Tried Lexar, Samsung, Kingston, PNY. All good cards & above the requirements in the manual. So not sure what's going on. Seems to come in waves too. For couple of months works great & then for a week will turn off for no reason. Then starts working fine again.2. Battery doesn't hold charge. I have the devices set up to record for 3 minutes after the car is turned off. But the battery runs out much quicker & turns off after about 20-30 seconds. This is after a drive of 30 min to several hours where the camera is constantly connected to the car charger. Doesn't seem to make a difference. All 3 cameras have this issue.So pros are:Great videoEasy to useCons are:Not 100% reliableIssues with battery - Although I did not experience issues with loop recording like some of the reviewers described.Hope this helps.Thank you.10/22 Update - I'm ready to toss this camera as it is now out of focus for some reason & keeps turning itself off. The media could not be loaded.  The camera works well most of the time, both in daytime and at night. Occasionally when the power is turned off, it gets into some stuck state that requires pressing on the reset button to get out -- and the time has to be set again. Once I have see available space on the SD card seemingly dropping for unknown reason with no files to account for it, video or otherwise, being present -- it may be the result of such event, however it's also possible that something went wrong with the filesystem when I was transferring files. Re-formatting the card restored the original available space.There is no built-in polarizing filter, and none can be attached. I was able to rig a filter holder that slides over the lens, however I would rather prefer if there was some kind of adapter provided with the camera. Without a filter camera picks up reflections from the windshield, what is somewhat annoying (see video).Edit: The video looks horrible after Amazon site re-encoded it -- the original version is at [...] (use "Download" button to play it in a mode other than yet another atrocious preview).
