This can get addictive - but you need the right cards
This book is the definitive card building guide - all the steps are very well explained with plenty of photos, and there's some great projects such as a Mayan Pyramid and the Empire State building (if you have 45 decks to hand!).I just wanted to warn potential stackers out there about the importance of using the right cards, it is not explained clearly enough in the book. You need UNLAMINATED cards - and in the UK these are quite hard to find. Unfortunately most cards are unsuitable, their slick laminated surface makes the cards just twist out of place in your building after reaching only two or three storys high.Apart from that this is great, get a child (age 10+) this book and a few decks and it should keep them occupied for some time. I have found cardstacking to quite therapeutic, and it helps you develop good co-ordination and lateral thinking.

My son got me to order this book. He has quickly picked up some ways of building houses and towers from cards. It is an inspiring book.

Interesting book with a lot of good tips and techniques for beginners interested in card stacking
Interesting book with a lot of good tips and techniques for beginners interested in card stacking. Most of the learning, however is done by trying to copy images and vague descriptions. A lot of this stuff I had already understood from free online sources. That being said there are still some interesting nuggets of information not found anywhere else.If you are a beginner and have limited knowledge of card stacking, or if you are interested in reading about Berg, this is a great resource. Personally I found a lot of information to be redundant to stuff I had already seen/knew.

My son loves this
This rating is for my son, who has been a Bryan Berg fan for years. We finally broke down and bought the book rather than borrow it from he library again. I have to say that my son has learned to make impressive card houses. Of course, I am his mother, so you can take that with a grain of salt, but some of them have reached the ceiling of his bedroom, been from this book, or been of his own design.

Perfect book for card stackers of all levels
I recently became interested in card stacking and this book is perfect for people of all levels. It gives clear and simple step by step instructions explaining how to construct each project. With each step there are useful pictures that make even the hardest structures easy to follow. This book also includes other helpful tips like what cards to use and where to build your cad houses. Written by the world champion expert, this book is sure not to disappoint.

Method works even for clumsy hands
What I found amazing about this book is that within the first few pages, you will learn the basic technique to stack cards and start building some phenomenal structures. And, even if you are clumsy, your structures will still attract admiring comments. My daughter, who is 6, has started building and enjoys it more than lego.
