Translatet by Google:The rating "is ok" comes from the fact that only the "old" iPhone 5 or 5S is to be used(I know of no other back for a more recent version) and so the resolution through the "screen"is too bad so that you can't take really good pictures. So it's just for the fun of being able to quickly take digital pictures with a Hasselblad. Who the 300, -Euro with delivery and customs are the value (I keep the part too) then of course everything is fine - as I saidjust for fun, do not pay attention to the quality of the recordings here!

faster / better as a polaroid back but naturally just the quality ...
For a control of the composition OK, faster / better as a polaroid back but naturally just the quality of iPhone, not the familiar quality of Hasselblad-lens.

Great idea but the software needs a lot of work.
I supported Hasselnuts for their kickstarter and was very excited about the prospect of being able to use my old Hasselblad 500C without going through the fuss of developing film. While the idea behind the product is very exciting there are a lot of technical issues that make using the product very frustrating. The physical product itself is very well made, looks attractive, and while its a bit of a tight squeeze to get your phone into the proper holder it grips the phone securely and latches onto the back of your camera with no trouble. My problems are not with the product itself but with the iphone app that is used to make the magic happen. The image quality is more holga-esque. The image is projected on a piece of ground glass that sits where the film plane would be. The camera actually takes a picture of the image on the ground glass rather than through the lens itself. There's quite a bit of vingetting and the grain of the ground glass gives a pleasing texture to the image. I find the quality attractive and the "feel" of the Hasselblad lenses are carried through. No complaints there. Yes, its getting holga quality out of a camera with legendary image quality but guess what, digital backs are $20-50k and this is $350 so scale your expectations appropriately. The problem lies in the software. Hasselnuts provides an app that you fire up when you slide the phone into the holder and want to take a photo. There's an initial focus calibration which works well (you just set your camera on bulb, open the shutter, and let the app focus on the ground glass). The problem is with the shutter detection. The camera is supposed to detect the vibration from the shutter firing and know that it needs to take a photo. The instructions suggest using a very slow shutter speed (1-1/4 second) so you're primarily controlling the light using the aperture ring. The app provides two settings for this process. The first is to set the sensitivity to the shutter firing and the second is a delay between detecting the shutter and taking a picture. In practice this does not work very well and quite often you end up not taking a picture at all or getting a black frame.Part of the problem with the app is that you need to open up the photo browser in the app itself to see if your last frame worked or not. This is clunky as the hasselblad is a waist level camera and was not designed for anyone to look at the back of the film holder. Despite using a range of settings I have never been able to get more than 1 out of 4 or 5 frames to work properly. Its very frustrating.Perhaps the best way to use the back is to set the camera on a tripod, set the shutter on bulb, lock the mirror up, and take a photo manually using the + volume button. The ergonomics for this are not great but it works. Its not as the product was advertised though. If the app was able to detect 4/5 frames properly I'd give this product 4 stars. This could be done by a new version of the app and I would revise my review if a new version resolves the issues with shutter detection.
