MaruchanAka Kitsune Udon Cup, 3.39-Ounce Units (Pack of 12)

I love these soooo much! They have wide, flat noodles that taste much better than the regular cup of ramen you usually buy. Two sachets of ultra deluxe (ok, dried onions and other stuff) make the broth very tasty! They have a dried tofu block in the bowl that are slightly sweet and soften up when the boiling water is added. I used to find these all the time at asian markets nearby, but some bird flu warning is making it nearly impossible to find these. If you dont mind paying for the shipping, a store in seattle (uwajimaya) will ship what limited supply they have to you. These are great for those drunken trips to Vegas when you are poor and dont want to dish out money for dinner. Sadly, the fat and sodium content of these make me want to only eat like one per month if I can help it.

Very good and lots of umami flavor, real bonito stock with a good bit of dehydrated marinated tofu that recooks just fine, very delicious. Hard to get where I live, worth the purchase.

We love these udon noodle bowls and were so glad to find them on Amazon since we can’t go to our local Asian market due to the COVID-19 stay-at-home order. These are my favorite instant noodles, from the time I was just a child. The texture of the noodles are perfect and the broth is so flavorful. Not too salty. Just a heads up however, that the item pictured does not match the description. I only noticed the pictures since I could read Japanese and thought they were the BIG size bowls as written on the bowls themselves. Unfortunately, I discovered that these are the small size bowls. They’re usually $2.50 each at our local market so with these at a little less than $4 each... I guess it’s only worth it during this crazy time.

I like these noodles because they're thicker and more hearty than ramen. As with most instant noodles, the salt content is very high as is the fat. These noodles are hearty enough to eat as a meal and are awesome for camping. Just boil up some water and add to the bowl to get a warm meal.

My 21 year old thinks this is the best instant noodle.

If you miss finding Sapporo Ichiban Kitsune in your supermarket, this is the closest replacement you'll find (and even a bit better quality). Very tasty. Classic instant kitsune udon flavor. One of my favor noodle bowls.

The first picture is what we received. The second picture is what we should have got.The size is totally different.We thought it was a great deal, since the product says it’s a “deka mori” (large portion), but we received the regular ones.The picture is misleading and not the same product! False advertising?There is no return on these, so beware!

Little slice of heaven. My favorite noodles.......totally worth the price and wait.
