I wanted my kid to have excellent reading skills and establish them early on in school. I’m sure her school does a good job teaching reading, but I wanted to create my own reading program for her and not rely on what the school does or does not do. So, I found this series of reading workbooks for grades 1 and 2. She is in first grade, but I got the second grade workbook to increase her reading skills. To provide other resources for my reading program, I enrolled her in Beestar’s innovative reading exercises online.I think the reading workbooks are a good one, but more than anything it depends how they are used.

This book is excellent and very easy to use. My daughter love it.Don’t think twice buy it if you child needs improvement in this area or needs to learn for the first time

The passages are excellent because they provide rigor and they add to the students' word knowledge. The text questions are aligned to the standards. This is an excellent resource for test prep and to teach close reading/text analysis strategies
