100% Italian wheat The safety of the excellent quality of our products is given by the philosophy that Ghigi has chosen and which is based on the constant control of the 100% Italian wheat that we have chosen to use, on respect for the environment and on production processes. The factor that most affects the quality of pasta is the grain with which it is produced. Ghigi has chosen to use wheat grown exclusively in Italy while maintaining a direct relationship with the farmers of our territory. This philosophy allows us to guarantee our consumers a safe final product because, in addition to being checked every day in our laboratories, for each pack of pasta we produce we know by which farmer and in which field the wheat used was grown. The importance of the choice we made is linked, in addition to the excellence of both quality and healthiness that we can guarantee, to the development of a completely Italian Ghigi agricultural supply chain, starting from the seed to the packaging of the final product. The development of a supply chain of this type will allow to incentivize the cultivation of durum wheat in Italy both from the point of view of the cultivated areas and the quantities produced, currently insufficient, and for an improvement in terms of product quality since through our product we enhance local productions and we guarantee an economic benefit for Italian farmers. One of the most iconic shape of short pasta, it is made according to tradition with just Italian Whole wheat and water. The product doesn't contain additives, preservatives and flavourings. Pasta Bulk Buy
I bought this - 12 bags, 500g of penne pasta - because I was unable to get it at the supermarket or at our local shop and we probably eat pasta 3 or 4 times a week. When I bought it, it was £20 for the 12 bags which works out at £1.67 per bag, probably close to what you'd pay for a premium bag in the supermarket. However, the £7 postage takes it to £2.25 a bag.Taste-wise it's fine, the pieces are slightly narrower than our usual brand. It's 9 minutes to cook according to the packet. I'd recommend trying it as you're cooking the first time you use it.Overall - a little on the expensive side compared to what we'd usually buy, but I'm just happy to have some pasta.

Nice Pasta. Abit pricey.
A little expensive. Great pasta though and best place for me to buy it currently in this time of short supplies.

it doesn't taste like real Italian pasta, price a little high for the type of brand and quality of the pasta, but in any case she deserves three stars for the speed of the courier

Inferior hard to cook pasta
this is an inferior quality pasta in respect for example to DeCecco, it's difficult to cook since it overcooks outside while inside it's still hard. Furthermore many packages inside the box were broken due to cheap paper packages. Overpriced
