I used a spring mount to attach the fiberglass rod which gives it much more flexibility. If riding on trails that are brushy or with overhanging limbs, I recommend cutting it to 4 feet and you shouldn’t have any problems. Flag was glued on well, like any flag if you’re going 40 or 50mph it will tear.

Do not buy. Only lasted 5 minutes. Seller says it wasn't installed correctly. I'm a Mechanic with 33 years experience. I know how to tighten bolts. They don't stand behind there products. Do not buy. They come ready to fail.Asked seller questions. They don't care.

First off, I just installed it, grabbed the flag to tuck it under the roof rack...flag fell off the pole. I reglued, and used zip ties...that worked, but about 100ft past my drive way, the flag snapped at the base into the road. I had it gently tucked under the roof rack, not bent that far at all...garbage.Heed others' warnings

Before you take this out to use, check the flag attached to the pole. Both mine and a friend’s both came with no glue connecting the flag to the pole. Friend’s came off shortly after driving away and checked mine out of the box and it was not connected at all.

1 star only because it showed up. Flag came off in first 3 minutes of a 20 mph ride. Poorly glued. Bolt also came off of bottom. Threw bolt away, super glued flag and zip tied to my utv.

Don’t recommend.
