Roll and Write Dungeon Fun
Ridiculously easy to learn and quite a bit of fun the first few times. I quite enjoy marking paths, so this game suites me fine, like Railroad Inc and Seven Bridges. If you're playing with the same people, after about the fourth play, you'll need more though, which you can get from Deadly Doodles 2.Scoring is very easy to keep track of and they included a number of ways to pick up points such as running your paths through treasure. Matching up weapons and monsters isn't always easy. You may find yourself planning one course but never get the path cards to make it.The design on the boards themselves looks outdated (80s - 90s) but that very well may have been what the publisher was going for. Either way, it doesn't really detract from the game. The components are all decent quality. Using the dry erase boards, sometimes the ink got on fingers and then on cards, so I sleeved them. Now they're easier to shuffle.Quality filler game. I'm pleased with this purchase. Four stars and a blow from an axe!!

Easy to learn, fun to play, light game
This is a light 'draw and write' game that I've enjoyed with kids and adults alike. I liked the idea of roll & writes, but after trying a well known one was dissappointed in how confusing it became to tally our points at the end of the game. Deadly doodles allows for variations in play style and keeps you engaged every turn. This would not be my go to main game, butakes a great filler or a wonderful intro to the concept for younger players. As a side note, there are free downloadable maps online and it works really well as a game to play virtually with friends or family. My only qualm is that the boards that come with it are single sided. Having a double sided board would allow for more versatility in the box (though other maps ARE available to print for free). If you're looking for a roll-and-write style game with heavy mechanics, this is not your game. For what it is, Deadly Doodles is great & I'd reccomend it.

Great flip and write!
Nice, and quick flip and write. Dry erase markers probably won't last but that's true with most games like this . The future expansion should make it even more fun.

Decent. Will be better with expansion
Little one note, but good fun.

Easy to Learn
Played this at PAX and had a lot of fun with it. I imagine the more you play the more tactical you would get with your drawings. Highly recommend for people who like spacial reasoning/logic games and you do not have to be good at drawing to play.
