Watersafe Water Test Kit for Lead (3)

I bought these tests to reassure myself that our water was safe. Our house was built in 1998 so we definitely don't have lead pipes and we’re at the top of a huge hill so the chances of contaminated run off is slim. We used three tests. The first one was positive, one was inconclusive and one was negative. Completely useless.

I bought 3 tests so I could test 2 things and have a control group to validate the test itself. I followed instructions precisely but in 2 of the 3 cases I couldn't tell if one line was darker than the other. In the third case the instruction chart said that results must be invalid because the control line did not appear. Don't waste your money like I did.

Good product.

I followed the directions for two kits, neither of which registered a result.
