The temperature was so far from correct, it makes this not useable. I sent it back immediately. I'm healthy and measured 98.6° on another thermometer. This one registered 97° orally, 95.5° by armpit, and took over 2 minutes for each reading, contrary to what was advertised.

I compared this to other thermometers I have (tested in a mug of warmed water, stirred to create a homogeneous bath.) An old mercury thermometer and this one measured exactly the same (100.7 deg. at the time.) I tested it against other digital thermometers, which vary in age from several years old to a recent purchase. Two were 0.1 deg. F lower and one was 0.1 deg. F. higher than this thermometer. So it was in the middle of the pack of digital thermometers and read the same as an ancient mercury thermometer (which hasn't been calibrated since manufacture.) I haven't actually used it in my mouth, but I think it compares favorably with the instruments I have already.

Piece of Chinese made junk. Even the case for it came missing the lid. Spend a few more dollars and buy American made.

I bought this product weeks ago. But didn’t opened it until now. Although, it gives you a reading but it never beeps when the reading is complete. I don’t trust that it’ll give me a accurate reading.

It does work but the battery had no charge and it came extremely filthy I honestly don’t know how it had so much dirt ( the package was still sealed)

It takes over 2 minutes to register result and is inconsistent with its readings by more than 1°. I don’t find this product to be practical for use with small children or reliable.
