Delta Faucet RP28603 Replacement Part

My faucet has been leaking for YEARS and I always assumed there was nothing to be done about it. But all it took was this kit, and a buddy who has some experience with plumbing, and now, no leak. I had no idea what psychic weight that little leak was causing until it stopped.

Fixed my bathroom faucet

I used this product to fix my leaky bathroom faucets. Cheaper than many alternatives, and it works like a charm. No dripping faucets anymore.

I have a delta monitor 1500 in my bathtub which is very old and hard to find. The tub was leaking and I did not want to upgrade because it was way too much money so I found this on Amazon and bought it. I replace the O-rings and no more drip! Definitely worth the money if you have an old delta monitor 1500 tub faucet.

I am not sure what model I have but I attached a picture of it. In the off position the faucet would keep leaking a dribble of water unless you nudged it just right. I was gonna go buy a new one until I found a youtube video that linked to link to this product and it looked pretty similar to mine so I just bought it and installed it, easy peasy!

I ordered this item and it clearly states it includes springs. Springs are also pictured. I received a small envelope with a label showing RP28603 and description of seats &springs. Bottom line no springs were included with the item.

Much less expense be than buying a new cartridge. Allow 45 minutes if you’ve never done this before.

The product itself is fine, they just don't fit the Delta Monitor 17 series...looks like I'm better off buying the full cartridge replacement (RP46463). The coupled o-rings are too close together and the individual rings are not as thick as the originals.

Apparently one of the previous washers was melting. It shot out and black liquid was there for the old one. Putting in this kit/reassembling stopped the leak.

Easy install. Works as it should.

I've had to buy three of these packs so far to fix these garbage delta faucets (all three went within 3-4 years of purchasing new). The first two worked great and no issues. The last had an anomaly in the double gasket and wouldn't seat so I had to clean and use the old one. The gap between the two was about 3mm too small compared to the others. I chock it up to a manufacturing defect that wasn't caught.Other components worked though.
