I love this product! I purchased it, because we have a really tall wall on our staircase. That wall has been very empty and needing something to make it look more inviting. I ordered this product on July 14, and received it July 28. I was impressed immediately by the thickness of the decal it does not look like a sticker, but more like a carving that has been placed on the wall. Secondly the shine and smoothness of the pieces is amazing quality, and gives a nice look to the overall appearance. It should be noted that the decal is several hundred pieces, but it comes with a template to and numbered pieces to show you where to pace them. I did however go a little rogue and made my own design after I made the initial tree. The decal is made to create more of a square look that obviously would not work at an angle on a staircase. I love the end result! It took me a total of 6 hours to complete (which does seem tedious), but you can tape the template to the wall and walk away and come back at your leisure. The manufacturer even included tape that does not ruin the paint on the walls. I would lastly like to note that this decal has an incredibly sticky adhesive, so if you are not sure if you want this decal on the wall, it would be best to tape it with scotch tape first, because I can't imagine the decal itself coming off without taking paint.

The only reason I didn’t give a 5 on install is because the paper was difficult to control. Because I wanted the art to surround my smart TV, I had to estimate where to place the tree trunk for the proper height, then I applied all the branches that are suppose to be attached to form the tree on the wall. Once I got the trunk and branches on the wall; I then taped the template next to it and used it to estimate where to place each leaf, and birds in reference to spacing on the template. Although it was tedious work, it was well worth it as I truly enjoy the way it turned out.

My 4 stars is primarily due to lack of adhesion. I knew it would be a task to install, that was daunting but expected. The primary downside is that after spending two evenings adhering each piece in place - I come home each day and find leaves on the couch and floor and tree branches popping up. I put them back, mostly in new places because I can't even begin to remember where each leaf belonged, and no the next day is a repeat. I have found that taking my Swiffer (dry, not wet jet) and pushing on each section has helped keep the branches from popping up, but the leaves don't seem to want to play nicely.I have had so many compliments though, and it looks stunning! I wasn't certain I would like it, I've been avoiding pulling the trigger on putting anything permanent up for a while as the wall is massive and I wasn't sold on what to decorate it with. Before I'd even finished, my fiance came home and saw it and was immediately on the video phone showing my kids. I love the reflection against the pieces and the way it flows.I would caution, echoing another reviewer, that if you don't own the space you're putting it on, be ready to forgo a deposit. I had to re-position a bird after only having it in place a few minutes, and it pulled up the paint beneath it.Lastly, the pieces are brittle. Two words had letters broken and one branch snapped taking the backing off. On the plus side, it was a clean break and fit together easily.(I wish my picture was a little clearer but alas.)UPDATE: Just an update to note that many of the pieces continue to fall off, even a week later. I've begun re-adhering them with "Tacky Glue", which seems to do the trick. It's very strange that some stick so well that they rip off the paint, and other pieces rain down every day.

So after reading the reviews saying this product takes days to complete, I've managed to finish the Large one in just under 3 hours. Firstly, when you open the box it does look intimidating. There are what looks like hundreds of leaves. After managing to get the tree up on the wall by hand, i then tried to follow the template but found it difficult to find the pieces. For the love of god people, to make your life easier, lay all the pieces out on the floor in number order. You can then grab the piece which correspond's to the template. I also didn't use the template. I taped it to the wall next to me and stuck the pieces on by hand. I didn't follow the template as I got further along the wall as I wanted a different design. I did manage to pull pieces off and reposition then without ruining the paintwork but they are extremely sticky and are difficult to pull off The wall once stuck, so make sure you really do want this on your wall. The quote I did free hand too. Overall, very pleased with this product. Made my living room look beautiful. ❤

This wall art is very pretty. It takes hours to attach all the pieces to the wall to create the art. It’s tedious and not worth the time because most of the pieces fall of the wall. It came with 2 butterfly pieces to test my wall and make sure the art will stick. The butterfly (test pieces) stayed on the wall while most of the red leaves fell off.

Very beautiful once you have it up. It is a little time consuming because you have to apply each piece individually and after you peel the very thin plastic film off of the front. But it was worth the it. I had to modify it a little because the wall space where I was putting it on did not have room for the leaves to float towards the right side, and I made adjustments by placing the branches in different locations, from the template, so that all the wind-swept leaves would float towards the left side.
