The product didn’t match the photo.
The stirrups didn’t have the leather “wrap” as shown in the photo. They have a rubber piece glued to it instead.

Lightweight wooden stirrups
I bought these stirrups because they were oak as I had a small project idea to create my own colorful "distressed" stirrups similar to another more expensive brand. These worked great! I sanded and stained them purple and they look very nice. I like them because they are lightweight wood and they are comfortable to ride in.

I got just one piece, not a pair of stirrups. How am I gonna use just one pice?

Ugly duckling
They are ugly. But for $29 at home depot I sanded and refinished them. Dark cherry color and 3 coats of clear. They are now as perty as a $350 pair. It wasn't difficult.
