Shuts off below 5 watt AC draw
My HP laptop PC has old batteries and doesnt last more than an hour on a charge, plus the table I use the pc on doesnt have a wall or outlets nearby. That is why I bought this 30,000 Ravpower AC power bank. I ran some tests using a plug-in watt meter to determine how much wattage is consumed by the PC from this Ravpower 30,000 mah power bank. Charging a partially charged laptop takes about 40-42 watts from the AC. This tapers down as the pc gets near full charge. Once below 5 watts drain, the Ravpower 30,000 is designed to shut off its AC output. This is not that big of a deal, and probably better for the pc, but my Fully, fully charged laptop floats continually at less than 1 watt from the AC source. This could be a problem with very small ac loads. Luckily not switching browser sites, and just typing this review, is drawing 7-8 watts AC, pretty close to shutting off. The fan is noisy but only runs full speed and steady while charging a partially full laptop. Also, the fan only seems to come on when more than 20 to 25 watts is being drawn from the AC. just typing this review, the wattmeter shows 8 watts draw from the AC, and the fan has not run in over 5 or 10 minutes. As CPU usage goes over 50 or so percent, the pc draw is very briefly 20-40 watts, less than a second or two, and not always full fan speed so it's very tolerable. Not uncommon to run many minutes without fan on even at low fan speed. Runtime test are not complete yet, but it looks like maybe 8 hours or more of laptop runtime from this Ravpower 30,000, 100 watt power bank. Then the fully charged laptop battery takes over. All in all I'm very pleased. The downside is the "soft touch" almost felt like finish. It shows finger prints and oily marks and I'm not sure how easy or effective to clean. I would definitely recommend this product. As any rechargeable device, performance diminishes over the years. That's why I bought a unit with more battery capacity and runtime than I need, as someday it will diminish to less than new capacity. It seems to utilize standard size 18650 lithium Ion cells (18mm dia. x 65mm long), and i hope when the time comes I can replace the internal batteries.

Power bank with handy AC outlet
The size of this power station was bigger than I thought it would be, but once I opened the package, I can immediately feel the build quality of this product to be very well built! I own several Ravpower products (a 45W PD power bank, and several PD chargers), so I know the quality of this brand is very trustworthy. Before buying this power station, my current 45W PD power bank was awesome, and it truly delivers 45W output which I tested it with charging my MacBook. However, the only downside of that power bank is lack of AC outlet which I occasionally need for something small like charging my work laptop which I don’t have the USB Type-C charging cable to take advantage of my PD power banks. For this product, I’ve tested with my MacBook and verified the PD port can actually deliver 45W to charge my Macbook without any issue (I had several power banks/stations claim having 45W PD output, but totally failed my “real world” testing to charge my MacBook). And the capacity seems to be very accurate according to my charging experience with my MacBook. I can fully charge my MacBook and still has about 3 bars left, and my MacBook’s battery is about 75Wh. And I really like the “10 bars” indicator which tells you more about how much power left with the power bank. It’s a bit thicker compare with other power banks I have, but it has to do with its AC outlet, so I can’t complain about itThe package comes with a case and a bag for the power bank, you can either put it in that hard case, or the bag to save some space in my backpack. Very well thought!

Excellent power bank for my laptops
I have a xps 13 and 2017 MacBook Pro. Both of them are capable of taking charges from usb-c so I tried this power bank on them, and it was amazingly impressive. For my xps, it originally came with a 45w power adapter so this power bank nailed it. For my MacBook Pro, Apple provides a 85w power adapter for it and tbh at first I was little worried about using the power bank on this one but turned out great charging it all the way from 15% to 78% while I was watching videos on the MacBook. If this power bank can power up both of my laptops then there’s nothing to worry about phones and other devices, I was actually thinking to bring it in our family trip but apparently it is not really safe to travel at this moment.Overall it was a budget and great solution for those who wanted to have a beefy power bank for your laptops, I don’t really want to carry my charging adapters because sometimes I just don’t feel like unplugging it under my desk from the wall and plugging it back when I’m back, all I needed to bring is just a USB-C cable.

Huge capacity, and a real 2-prong AC outlet. Be mindful of the size and weight for your purpose
I have a few high capacity powerbanks, as high as a 26,500mAh one but this is the biggest capacity power bank I ever owned. However, I didn't buy it because of a little bit more power. I primarily bought this for the AC outlet it came with. I have some devices that require powering by an AC outlet and not just a USB (a,b,c).What I loved:- The case is nice, and easily and securely holds this power bank (or shall I call it power brick)?- Comes with a mesh carrying bag and a USB-C cable, both of them are high quality.- The AC outlet worked as advertised. Keep in mind though that it is 2-prong and not 3-prong. So, if you're going to need it for a 3-prong charging cable, then you'll need a converter.- Charges multiple devices at a time. What I don't like:- The size. I mean this thing is huge, both weight and size wise. If you're planning to pack this in your carry-on luggage, pls make sure you have room for about 1.5 lbs and the size of this power bank.- 2-prong outlet. A 3-prong outlet would have been more versatile but I knew what I was getting into.Overall, I plan on carrying this on our car trips and charge multiple devices at a time to cruise along while the kids are entertaining themselves on their devices and I listen to nice songs :) Would definitely recommend this power bank for its versatility, capacity and price.
