Great fishing paddle!
Great bang for the buck. I was looking for an angling specific paddle and this one works great! I really like the line slot on the blade, it's a great way to follow your line into the weeds and find your lure. Pet peeve! The paddle is light and the blade seems large enough to move my big boat around. and it didn't break the bank. I have a nasty habit of leaving paddles on the beach after a long day of fishing so the $400 carbon paddles aren't for me. I've had this one for a little over a month now!

Frustrating Giant Sticker
The paddle itself is nice. Pretty much what I was expecting. What I wasn’t expecting was the GIANT IMPOSSIBLE TO PEEL STICKER covering one of the paddles. This is my biggest pet peeve. There’s no better way to 1. ruin customer experience and 2. make a nice item feel cheap than by slapping a giant confetti paper sticker on it that literally takes 15 minutes of frustration to scrape off. It left sticker scar too, which I’m not happy about. The packaging altogether was annoying. It was wrapped in so much plastic.Would I recommend the paddle? No. Not unless the company rethinks packaging. Otherwise you’re bound to experience the same frustration.

Why, Pelican?
It's the year 2020. Let's use stickers that don't do this.

Pricy for an intro paddle; cheaply made for its price
Nah. This likely isn't the paddle for you. If you just want a basic paddle, this is expensive and not that great. If you want a good paddle, this is heavy and jiggly in the middle. I'm not saying you have to spend $300 or more for a fancier paddle, but you'll get more performance (and less wear on your joints) with a slightly better paddle. And as others have mentioned, that sticker which only partially peels off, is ridiculous.

It’s just okay
It’s just okay. Very flexible paddle, not a fan of that at all. Not a very powerful paddle blade either, but the paddle is a good value for the money. I bought this after someone stole my carbon Wilderness Systems Alpha paddle recently, Catch paddle can’t even compare. Wish I just forked over the 375.00 for a new one.

Description doesn't match the product
Ordered a 162" paddle and the box said 162" but it measures 155".

Exactly what I wanted!
This paddle is awesome! Looks super good and does the job. Make sure to measure because it does only have one setting.

Excellent Extra length for top water fishing kayak
This really is a great paddle, perfectly balanced feels good in your hand and the extra length for my wide top water kayak made a big difference. I didn’t realize how much a few more cm would be but glad I got this.

I own a Pelican The Catch 120 and even if I'm not 6', I recommend the 260cm
Very happy with my purchase. I recommend it! Very light, well made. However, the 260cm is normally recommended for people taller than 6'0. I'm 5'10 and I still recommend the 260cm!

Excellent purchase
Perfect size for use with our wide tandem Adventure Elite kayak. The weight is reasonable and well distributed across the length of the paddle. There is very little slop in the locking mechanisms making them much less fatiguing than cheaper poorly constructed paddles and since they are a two peice construction they don't fill up with water like my last cheaper 4 peice paddles. A very, very good purchase for our recreational and fishing kayaking days on the water.

Best Amazon purchase to date !
I've literally got nothing bad to say about this product. Quality exceeded my expectations for the price. I'm an amateur kayak fisherman doing it as a hobby on the cheap and if you sound like me than this is exactly what you're looking for. Being new to the sport I couldn't decide between the longer or shorter version. I'm 5'11'' 190lbs taller in the upper body and I think the shorter version is really going to work out good for me. If you're like 6'2" and over I would consider the longer version.

Catch Angler Paddle
I am 6"3' and this paddle is fantastic. It is light weight and nice to handle. The drip stop cutouts work fantastic. The length is perfect for me and keeps me dry. Although not a fisherman the scale and line hook appear to be a neat feature. Time will tell how long this paddle will last.
