Was looking for a wireless but couldn't find one and settled on this to "get me by". I DID have to buy a 20 ft extension for my needs (which doubled my total cost) but this lav sounds incredibly good for the price - especially if you only need the 5 ft. original cord length. Works good enough to serve as full time my lav mic until the right wireless deal comes along!

Nice microphone sounds way better than the iPhone. Great fast delivery time. The microphone is a bit bulky and a bit loose when I plug it in . No adapters needed, overall I like it.

i order two of this microphones, thought that the first one was just bad aka (DOD)Wrong i got the second one and the same problem. no input on the mic as i tried on 4 different phones likegalaxy note 3, 4, also on galaxy s4 and s3 so had to returned it again. if you own any samsung products this item will not work ! ! !

I used this microphone once about two years ago and it worked just fine. Pulled it out to record a podcast episode the other day and it no longer works at all. No idea why, it's been stored in a bag all this time, no one has touched it.

It worked the first time I tested it out. After storing it in its case, it wouldn't a few weeks later. Thinking it was just the device, I tried again today (after about a month) with a different device to no avail. The device I used today DOES work with other microphones.

I opted to get this microphone to use on my phone with the app, Periscope. It works exactly as I had hoped.
