Do you really need 10 pairs of shoes?
Pros: Easy to assemble yourself in 10 minutes, nice basic design, the “basket” area is actually perfect for my work boots, and it has a cute little storage bench—perfect for socks! Or shoe related stuff.Cons: cushion smells weird (a mix of plastic and chemicals) but oh well and the XL is big but not that big. It’s great if you have like 6 pairs of shoes you swap between or 6 shoes between you and family members. For some reason Amazon ships this in an enormous box with no bubble wrap, just a couple pieces of tissue and viola. If your postman hates you, I’d opt for the extra insurance. The set up was easy and took about 15 minutes for me to assemble on my own. Personally I wish the directions were more detailed, but it’s really simple. So I get it.As far as the size goes, I bought the XL because my boyfriend has a billion shoes. Yeah, reversed roles. I was hoping to use this to store a gang of shoes, anticipating it to be significantly larger than the small or large. If it were longer by about a foot, you could probably store a gang of shoes on here without compromising on “too big”. I think he’s gonna have to downsize here on his shoe game.Y’all should consider making a “Texas small” version that’s essentially two of the XL put together. Cuz that’s probably what I’d need for this man’s shoes.

Seem's Expensive But Super Convenient
The reason for 5 star rating is simple: compact, seems sturdy (I'm 190 lbs), hidden storage, comfortable cushion, and looks sharp.Areas for improvement: add screw covers, finish and sanding not adequate, the floor material on the storage is fake particle board, and add support feet under the middle of the bench.Amazon would have replaced mine, but I went with the discount & kept this one. Value for the money is a 4, but all the convenience makes this a 5, if you get one that doesn't have the problems pictured. Please let me know if this is helpful.

Cute, but small
This was fairly easy to assemble. The directions were easy to read and the amount of parts/hardware was minimal. It looks cute and I like that it has multiple components: shoe storage, a taller spot for boots, seating, another storage compartment for misc. items. I needed something small to put next to the garage door because we use that entrance more than the front door and our breakfast nook was cluttered with shoes. I love how this storage bench looks. My only dislike is that the seating part is not very deep. In the description it says it has a 270 lb weight limit, which is why I went with this one over another one I really liked. My husband is 260 lbs and I am not a small woman and I don't want to take a chance sitting on this thing. Even my husband said it looked like it couldn't hold the weight. That being said we will be using this primarily as shoe storage, not so much as a seat for ourselves. Our toddler can sit on it while we help put on her shoes, but honestly I dont want this thing to break.

Perfect Size for a Smaller Space
I wanted something for my entryway hallway. The hallway is long and somewhat wide but a regular sized bench would make the space too narrow and difficult to navigate through. This bench is the perfect size. I put some baskets in the shelves instead of using them for shoes. It’s the perfect place to store masks, gloves, sanitizer, etc. Downsizing to a condo, I really appreciate it when I can get a bit of hidden storage out of functional furniture! This bench is very solid and sturdy. It looks good with the cushion but is also nice without it. Assembly wasn’t bad either.

Perfect for what we needed
Look, we know some large people (at least 300 lbs). Those people can sit on this bench with no issues. The little storage area is perfect for our DnD supplies and our shoes are finally neatly arranged. We live in a tiny house and this bench manages to organize a lot of stuff while remaining discrete. Highly recommended.

Sturdy and Easy to assemble. Beautiful
This bench was exactly what I wanted and very reasonably priced. My daughter's home is a "no shoes" environment and loves it. We were worried about assembly as we were putting it together Christmas Eve at 2am in the spare bedroom of my adult daughters house and placing it in her entryway. Were prepared for problems but there were none at all. Assembly was super easy (but a power screwdriver is definitely needed. The allen wrench included would take hours and would be painfully difficult). We normally use the power tool anyhow so no problem for us. It is actually very sturdy and quite beautiful. Definitely a great steal at the price. Will be looking for more from this manufacturer.

30 minutes to assemble
My wife has been wanting a shoe bench for quite a while. Chose this one because it is not too big. Narrow enough that it doesn't get in the way but still holds 4 pairs of shoes and 1 pair of boots. The storage area beneath the seat is easily accessible though we don't use it. The cushion fits well on the bench top. It took me 20-30 minutes to assemble, including gathering tools and glue (I glued the joints, but it's not necessary to do that). Recommend.

Poor quality
Super disappointed!! Cracked where they put a screw in right out of the box. The planks are glued on. Just looks cheap and poor construction I’m sending it back ASAP!
