I do my own dip powder manicures at home and prefer to use uv gel liquids instead of dip powder liquids. I personally think it’s easier since you have more time to work with gel liquids and you don’t have to deal with activator since the UV/LED light hardens it. I have scrolled by this brand countless times, and never thought about purchasing. Since I don’t have a favorite top coat, when one of my favorite You Tubers said it was her favorite, I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. The top coat gave me a really nice shine. I didn't have issues with the application. Overall it was very easy to work with. The base wasn’t my favorite though, I felt it was a tad runny. I’ll probably use it when I make my sample sticks so it won’t go to waste. I would’ve preferred two bottles of top coat or the option to buy without the base especially since the bottles are quite small. I posted picture next to another brand for size comparison. I also posted a photo of a one week old manicure I freshened up with some art and a fresh coat of top coat. We will see how it holds up over my design.

This is definitely, by far, the worst base coat of all time. Absolutely terrible. When I applied it to my nails, it was as if I was applying oil to water and it immediately separated and created waves. It is just terrible.

As a licensed hairdresser I did nails for about 5 years. I only do my own nails now and went to all of my old stand-by product lines, only to be doing my shellac nails once a week regardless of my UV products. I was using Gelish products to start testing products with also CND and OPI.These two products are by far the best I have ever used!!!! This includes my time I did nails professionally. I can go longer than two weeks now and most cases it removes easily even without soaking!!! Love this stuff!!!

I love this base & top coat. My nail tech uses it and it is amazing!

I’ve used it with shellac polish and with dip powder. I’ve had good results with both. I’d purchase again.

Product is better than CND. I’ve been wearing it for three weeks and I just got a chip!!

I really love this brand of gel products. I am not sure what the “updated” formula is all about since I haven’t tried the old pink bottled ones, but these have less product in them for the same price it seems. Maybe it a lot better I don’t know. But this makes my gel manicure last 10 days. I never thought I’d ever achieve that by doing my nails at home. You can apply directly to your nails without having to file down the outer layer of your nails so it keeps them much much healthier than when I got my gel nails done at the salon. I highly recommend this brand. Their gel colour polishes are great too

I usually buy this in the colors but the base coat was so thick the polish peeled off in less than a week. I'm hoping this was a one off(bad batch). It took forever to set under the uv light.☹

This is easily the best base and top coat I’ve used. I have zero issues with it peeling or lifting and the shine from the top coat lasts right up until it’s time to remove them. The polish glides on and isn’t thick or clumpy. I especially love that you don’t have to wipe the top coat. I have repurchased several times now and won’t use anything else.

Formula is definitely on the thicker side, but other than that no complaints at all for the great price! Pretty & shiny!
