This is a great supplement that my vet approves of. I have a senior horse that is still spunky and young at heart. He was put on the back burner for a few years as I was having children and is out of shape. I got these supplements to help him recover from the more intense work outs. I am fortunate enough to live 10 minutes from a beach that I can ride on with horses. There is nothing better than running and swimming with horses, but it is a real workout and harder on his aging body. I use these supplements after all our beach rides.When used as directed you feed two packets per workout so this is good for 6 times. I mix it with a textured feed and he eats it as normal. He can sometimes be picky, but there are no issues. I do feel like he is less stiff the next day and that it does work. I got the horse when I was 18 and am now 38. He’s taken care of me and carried me and I feel like now it’s my turn to take good care of him. These supplements give me peace of mind that I’m doing all I can to help him feel his best and be his best. Although they are expensive I will be purchasing these again.

It's hard to tell if this actually does anything or not without long term use and observation. I recently brought my stallion down to the ranch in deep West Texas for winter. As a result, our riding environment is drastically different and more demanding that we've had in several years.Mountains, desert, arroyos, and rocky creek beds require more strength, stamina and drive than hacking in a sand arena or trail riding on soft East Texas ground. Azul loves being here and the terrain, but it'll be a few weeks before he's fully reacclimated to the conditions. I figure using this in the interim before a long trail ride might be of benefit.So far, it hasn't hurt him at all. He eats it mixed with his food without any drama or avoidance. He's recovering well after a long ride, but he's always been in good condition so it's hard to say if this really makes a difference.

I wrote a review earlier on this product, listing all the ingredients since they're not given on the product page, but something went wrong and it didn't post. So, instead of going to all that effort again, I took picture of one of the packets with the ingredients listed. I had ordered this product by mistake, but I still think I can offer some help by listing the ingredients.

I wanted to give my boy a boost after hard works, and this supplement helps him recover more quickly,I'm a firm believer in doing as much as I can for my horses. While I can't tell you if he feels better, he seems to be ready to go the following day a little more enthusiastically than in the past. And I can't tell you this will work for your horse - all horses respond differently to supplements.It makes ME feel good that I'm helping my horse, so I'll continue to use it.

I'm sorry, but I can't give an opinion on this product as they only shipped me one packet, not even a loading dose. In general, Vita Flex makes quality supplements.

Number one: Check with your vet first. Number two, Lactanese is potentially a strong assist to enhance overall metabolism. Number three, I can swear horses really can talk if we kindly feed them coveted carrots frequently.
