This stuff really works! My husband and I can't believe a can of air can have such a positive effect on our 7mo puppy! We've been having barking issues with our puppy, a whippet/red healer mix. She barks at anyone who walks by our home on the street, our neighbors, and don't get me started on visitors. Our poor visitors. When we have people come over she begins to bark and literally won't stop, ever. And she has one of those high pitched barks that stings the ear drums. Although she is very well trained with the typical tricks, extremely smart, very good at listening and learning, and amazing with us and our kids, she gets so involved in her barking when others are around that she won't listen to us, no matter how sweet or stern we are. So, we decided to try this air in a can, and good gawd, this stuff really works!!! She begins to bark and we do one quick press on the can and she immediately stops barking, and shifts her attention to us. Giving us the ability to teach her no. She could be outside, a good 20 ft away, barking through our fence and with one press of this can, she would immediately stop barking and come directly back to us. It has only been about 3 days that we've been using this product and her barking issue is already 80% better. If someone knocks on the door, she'll let out one bark, which is completely acceptable. When we answer the door, she no longer barks at the person outside. We have not yet had a guest over to see her reaction, but I think we're on an amazing road of getting her barking under control. The price seems a little steep for some air in a metal can, but you do get two, each can has 50 shots of air, and with the response we're getting from our dog, the pricing has been completely worth it for us. It's a painless and easy way to train and/or correct puppy issues.

It doesn't matter what my dog is doing, this stops him in his tracks, immediately! Now, I don't even have to pull the trigger, I grab the can and he stops! Such a great tool!

My 9mo old puppy keeps annoying my 13yr old dog. I sprayed this once (it just makes a hissing noise). Puppy got the hint! Now I just let him see the can and he leaves my other dog alone

This is a great product. It is highly effective to get your pet’s attention for them to hear your command. The can lasts for a while so it’s a great value for your money. There’s not smell or leakage. Noise level is not overwhelming but loud enough for the pet to look at you.

This spray can gave me the "in" I desperately needed to stop my dog from charging the fence like a maniac every time another dog walked past. I used to have to chase her and physically pull her away, stepping in front to block her or command her to stop did nothing, she was deaf and blind to it. Even if she was playing inside the dog park she would break away from play to charge the fence. People in the park knew her and laughed about how sweet she is to every dog... on the same side of the fence. I was also trying to anticipate oncoming dogs and would get her attention and hold her to prevent her from going full trigger but this was going nowhere. If I wasn't holding her, she'd go running. I figured this can was worth trying after I heard how well it got the attention of a friend's dog who had an issue with jumping on house guests. It didn't take long for a test opportunity to present. We were outside only a short time before a dog was being walked past the fence. My normally sweet dog triggered as expected and began to charge, barking madly along the way. I simply gave a quick spray into the air and she stopped cold in her tracks right in mid charge, instantly silent. She looked right at me. I immediately followed with my own command and instructed her to leave the fence. That was it for the can. At first she wanted to go to the fence but when I gave her my command she listened and now doesn't even try to go to the fence. Now I am just using rewards for her new desired behavior to help hold onto this new pattern. I still keep the can with me but so far haven't needed it with her. A note: my other dog also likes to run the fence but doesn't seem as phased by this can. I don't take any stars off though since it worked miraculously for the other dog. It did stop the male in his tracks but he decided to go back to his antics shortly after that. I'm using other techniques now to further stop his habit now that I was able to make the big first step with him and will see how that goes. I may try the can again after some time has passed, if it's still needed, so it can be a surprise again. I'm reluctant to use it around other dogs so I try to time it just right where other dogs are not nearby to get mixed messages. The sound is not unsettling to people. I'm betting the compressed air for keyboard cleaning makes the same sound.

My dog is a jumper. She can’t control her excitement when people come over and I was running out of ideas to help get over the jumping. I tried this and it seemed to work. It’s a loud hissing noise. I tested it out before using it just to see what it sounded like and it startled me. It is pretty small and seems to empty pretty quickly unless you just “tap” the button. Overall it works well.

We have 12 year old Yorkshire Terriers who enjoy barking at most things passing our property when out on our deck. A family member shared their positive experience with this product for their much younger mix-bred dog. Who said you can't teach and old dog? The product works as described. We are enjoying a much quieter time and our dogs don't have to be constantly corrected for barking. I would recommend this product.
