Usable option
Item appears exactly as advertised. I measured it at just under 10" when unfolded for use. Weight on my scale is 9.9oz for stool and another 2.0oz for the well-made carry bag. Two folding options" quick-fold like a normal camp stool or you can disassemble the shock-corded legs to fit into the case, all pieces stay attached with shock cord. Item will easily hold stated 220lbs, legs are fluted aluminum and seat is a heavy diamond weave pack cloth. I weigh considerably more than 220 and sat in it with no creaks or complaints. Weakest point is probably the thin bolts at the scissor intersection of the legs.I purchased and compared several "micro-stools" like this. My favorite is another, only because it is ever so slightly taller. One would suspect the seat area is not large enough for comfort butt this is not the case. The seat is, for example, much larger than any bicycle seat. For me the limiting factor on comfort is the height. A "normal" Coleman-style camp stool is about 17" high, close to normal seating height. A Helinox Chair One has a sitting height of about 11" and is a lot more comfortable, but that is a different deal. It weighs three times as much and cost four times as much. 10" is as low as I'd like to go for comfort. Even at that height, I find my legs folded and supporting some of my weight. This chair is doable for me but my shorter wife likes it much more and she got it. I took one with a folding back and is slightly higher. Ideally I'd love to see this stool executed at a 12" seated height. That would be the ideal balance between carry weight and comfort.

Almost perfect
Exactly what I wanted for outdoor sketching -- small, compact, lightweight, and does not sink into soft ground. I have found no other small stool that has all those qualities. Cons: I would prefer that it would be about two inches higher. It comes with picture instructions on how to assemble it, but it was already assembled and in its case. What would be more useful would be instructions on how to fold it up to put it back in its case. If you buy one, pay careful attention to how it unfolds when you take it out of the case because getting it back in is far from intuitive.

Does what is needed
Light and easy to carry it's only a few ounces where other brands are about two pounds. Not for heavy people though.

Basically a miniature stool. A joke really unless you are a small child. Although the description includes the words "mini size", that description seems to refer to the disassembled size rather than the actual size. So small that it useless except possible as a portable foot stool – a low one at that.
