Everything: A Maximalist Style Guide Hardcover – October 20, 2020

I was excited to get this book, but once I open it, I was sorely disappointed. The construction of the book left me flat. The pages are not stitched together, but glued and it appears the only thing holding the pages in the cover are the end sheets. If I read it more than once, which I'll never do, I'd expect the pages to start falling out. Inside, the type face is very light and SMALL which makes it difficult to read. The content reads more like a blog than a design reference book. There are no captions for the photographs, which are not any of the authors work, but boutique hotels, and many of them were repeated.If you want a real book about maximalist style, find Thomas Obrien's AERO, published by Abrams. Infinitely more informative and exquisitely presented.

I love the book it is full of tips and positivity. And a great deal of photos from lots of different homes/people, you will not only see here personal home and style. The photos are good and inspiring. The book is not only for maximalists, there a tips for everyone.

This book reassured me that I have always been on the right path to creative living and designing. A feast of ideas and fun. Gives one permission to simply enjoy ones collecting and design choices. A path to relaxation in choosing design elements that may not be the norm. Basically, how to have fun with and embrace your unique stylistic choices. A joy of a book!

This is a perfect decor book! Page after page of gorgeous photos, saturated with rich colors, textures.A must have! Great coffee table book to spark conversation. Simply beautiful.

This book is lovely. It has a lot of great ideas and inspirations - Ahern has such great style. It's nice to also hear her voice and understand how/why she makes certain choices. It has really encouraged me to 'clean out' and embrace my maximalist self but without looking like a crazy hoarder. I look forward to many hours sipping pink wine and thumbing through this gorgeous (green metallic edging?!! yesss) tome.

In the era of minimalism and Kondo-ism and giving things away, I've always felt a little guilty about all of the things I have. I love them and certainly don't want to get rid of them. Reading this book has made me feel much better about my lovely things and has helped to display them better.

AMAZING!!! Love Abigail Ahern’s style and her book is filled with decadent interiors that inspire all of your senses. Lush interior ideas filled with great ideas to turn your home into something spectacular.

This is basically a good book, but the paint colors are so dark it's sometimes hard to even see the rooms. She actually gives a lot of good design advice, but oddly, the rooms don't seem to follow it. I'm giving it 5 stars for her suggestions, not the execution. The text is extremely small, very hard to read. It seems that form was more important than function.

I like Abigail’s style so I didnt think twice about buying. I love the green page edges, it will surely look great at my coffee table. As for the content, I am greatly disappointed. I follow Abigail’s Instagram so all angles of her house are already known to me, while very pretty - not exciting any more. There is a lot of pics of the same places from different angles. Not enough variety for me to be honest! I am on page 67 and so far only I only got one advice About paint ceilings, the other tends to be: go for symmetry but do asymmetry as well. Not really sure what to do as a result. She also repeats herself a lot. Not a writer for sure ;)

Another addition to my book collection. Great layout and easy information.Some of the examples of the photograph of the rooms shown here are the same style as her other books; dark and moody. So, if you are looking for something with that in mind, you'll be happy with them. Don't worry, there are also some bright-looking rooms with natural light included in this book.I'm also happy with the fast delivery by Amazon Prime driver - 2 & 1/2 hours earlier.

I love this book by interior designer Abigail Ahearne. Her style is ground breaking. The book is full of glossy pictures and game changing ideas for anyone who loves a maximalist home. The quality of the book is great. I really love the page edges which are emerald green
