Alesis V2 Kick Pad PACK - DMPad Kick Drum & DMPedal Single Kick Pedal -Nitro

Great idea I had for electronic double bass drumming. First, you need at least a Alesis Nitro kit module. It comes with 2 extra inputs for either a tom or cymbal. Well, I took the chance and ordered the foot pedal and when it arrived, I put it through the tom input. It works! One thing though (and not a problem), is that you have to program the sound to match your other bass drum, then save it to one of your modified kits. I love this kit for how it sounds and plays. Awesome!

Got this as double bass for my Alesis Nitro and it works perfectly. Just make sure if you use the additional TOM 4 input to use a splitter cause the input is STEREO (cause there's an input for the TOM pad and the TOM rim) and this pad is MONO so if you just plug it directly you can have a double sound when kicking it. Other thing you can do is just mute whatever sound you have in the TOM rim and problem solved. BUT Definitely recomend if you are into double bass

I bought this as a replacement pedal for my Alesis turbo e-kit because the pedals it came with both broke. I figured that because it was the same brand it would work well. But I was very wrong. The kick input for the Turbo only registers a midi velocity of 100 or more, so unless you stomp on it super hard, it won't register. I'm sure this works well with other kits, and it really feels nice. But I want to make sure others don't make the same mistake I did.

It sounded great as soon as it was plugged in to replace a mesh system. However the base was not as wide, so it is not as stable as the unit it replaced. Still a good replacement option.

I have to plug it in another output speaker cause it's a different type of kick bass pedal which the one system I have is the Alesis Turbo and the foot pedal is a Nitro but I have it controlled and sounds good.

Works great with a Yamaha DD75

Sounds better than I expected. I use it by itself while leading worship when our drummer can't make it.
