First off, these alarms are really loud. I accidentally pulled the cord while in the car after work and did end up having security who was about 40-50 ft. away come running towards my direction. He even said he heard an alarm, it was loud enough to think that someone was in trouble. I currently have this attached to my key fob or will occasionally put this in my pocket. The size of this is roughly the same size as my key fob which fits in the palm of my hand. When you pull the cord, alarm goes off. Plug it back in and it turns off. It does take some effort in pulling and does not fall out easily. The extras that came with them, the self defense keychains that came with this are fairly heavy and the point is fairly sharp. Can see this doing some damage to anyone. The other end is rounded off and while it still can be used for a weapon, I do see this doubling as breaking a window if needed. The light on these alarms is bright and does illuminate the whole inside of my purse when I'm looking for things. Great alarms to have for anyone.

Extremely loud and will alert anyone within at least a three block radius. The light is illuminous as well. The light could be brighter but it is useful and significantly bright. I love the color variations and they make a great gift for loved ones especially in this time of uncertainty. Will definitely purchase again! And the zip lock bags were an added bonus for storage. Love the silver and black defensive poke stick things! I got a lot for my money and thats what i look for when purchasing anythning.

These alarms are awesome!!! The sound that they make scared me to death, so if anyone is going to mess with you, these alarms will definitely get people to look. I shared them with my family members, because there are 6 of them. The pin is easy to pull out and put back in. The light is bright and lite up the keyhole of my front door. It comes with a connector to attach right to your key chain. Very happy with my purchase!

Super loud, I second-guessed what a little alarm would actually do to a thief or an attacker but this alarm is debilitatingly loud! Woried about pulling the cord on accident and loosing the cord to shut it off..but it doesnt seem to be that easy to pull out. The light is useful and bright but note you cant see very far with it. Overall, if this is put in use for the right reasons, your not gonna care about the little stuff. The key chain "rods" are what i was actually looking for and are very strong and longer than expected. I attached one to my purse WITHOUT using the carabiner that way the alarm would stay with my purse/bag if stolen.

I like the peace of mine these provide me for my daughters to carry. I travel a lot and often home late a night, so I carry one also. I like the side alarm pin, easy to pull but not too easy to lose it. I have instructed my daughters when needed, throw the pin so and attacker can't shut it off

I Love it already! I brought one for some members of my family as well and it will give a little bit of a peace of mind with all the craziness going on today. I pulled the string to try it out and the alarm is definitely LOUD enough to deter someone away!!! I only let it go off for a couple seconds and it literally gave me a small headache... So yea I will only pull in case of an emergency! But remember u want it to be loud if you are in an emergency! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

They definitely serve their purpose. The alarm is super loud, like ear piercing loud which is great for my family’s use of it during walks alone and things like that. It also came with two super shark key chain things that I’ll personally be using to stab my hypothetical attacker. Great product though !

Thank God I checked/tested these alarms before handing out to my family! THREE of the size alarms ere not working! The black, purple, and silver are completely dead. This would be a horrible safety issue if they were relying on them and they don't work. There is no way to replace the battery??As far as the three that did work, the alarm is awesome and they are very easy to use. I do wish they had a no fault safety feature so there isn't a way to accidentally pull the pin out during a school day or when grabbing your keys out of your purse.
