This is a quality kit that is very functional and simple to install. In a matter of about 10 minutes we had the kit attached to the frame and to the swing itself and was swinging. The brackets at the top were a heavier gauge of steel than what I was expecting them to be. The chains appear to be good quality and are much better than the standard light duty chains you see on many porch swings. One thing a person needs to do is to be sure the nuts on the chain couplers which attaches the top chains to the two bottom chains are tight. Both of ours came apart after just a few minutes of swinging. I recommend this kit especially comparing the cost of this kit to other kits and options.

Need a new chain for my swing. Looked at several online, but these were rated for 1000 pounds. I received them earlier than expected and was very happy to see how well made they were and the way the the chains hung from strong hardware. They were easy to install and work great. Thank you for the early arrival, I am not back swinging over looking my front yard.

I have a heavy wooden swing and was concerned about the weight since the swing easily holds 2-3 people. The chains are 1,000 pounds rated so I'm not holding my breath when it's used. I bought the shorter chains which are certainly long enough for my swing.
