this is my new favorite mala. The sandalwood smells just like a sauna and the colors of the gems are so clear. I’ve only had it less than a week and I’ve worn it every day. It’s light weight so great for every day wear and the colors make it a match for any outfit! Modern Ōm has got modern spirituality down pat!

I almost never write reviews but this time I have to. Love everything from its packaging to the product itself. The packaging is careful and neat and the product is beautifully crafted - quality. Decided to get another one directly from their website for my husband.

My mala is beautiful and the wood has a very light fragrance. I decided to dedicate time to a new 21 day meditation practice. The mala is the perfect reminder to just breathe and let it all go.

I'll admit that I got this based on what was written on the product page (very convincing). I know only one type of sandalwood and that's the Indian kind. I thought there was only one kind of sandalwood and that the green sandalwood meant it was harvested at a certain stage of the Indain sandalwood plant/tree. But after receiving it, and smelling the wooden beads, it did not smell like the authentic sandalwood. So I googled to find out what a green sandalwood was. I found out that green sandalwood is verawood aka Bulnesia sarmientoi (from South America) while white sandalwood from India is Santalum album. They are two very different trees. So be aware that this mala does not have your typical sandalwood smelling beads. The green sandalwood does have its own distinctive pleasant smell (but nothing close to real sandalwood).The mala itself is well made with quality workmanship. It will last a long time because of it. The wooden beads and gemstone beads are nice, but I didn't like the pointed acrylic looking hanging pendant. I don't see any description of what it is made of. The length is long enough to wear as a multi loop bracelet. But I plan on using it as a two loop necklace. The gift box, info cards, pouch - all make it lovely as a gift, albeit a pricey one.

The sandlewood beads are quite pleasantly aromatic. The ones I got are already rather green hued. The wood beads are strung with knots between them, as well as the Chakra colored stone beads. The quartz crystal pendant on the Mala I received is tied so tightly and short (it was also singed to seal the knot) that it causes the crystal pendant to hang very awkwardly angled which does not look attractive to me. I have attached a photo showing this. There us no length whatsoever for this to straighten to dangle downward as it should. I received this as an item to review for the Vine program, however if I had paid the list price for this, I would either return it or at least request a replacement.

Absolutely beautiful, perfect color, length, everything! The energy vibration is strong also. The Mala is so comfortable, I forget that I have it on, Thank you!
