My first experience with silicone storage bags was with the Stashers brand. I see them in a lot more stores, they seem to dominate the market. Stashers work pretty well, but after trying Zip Top storage containers, I won't buy any more Stashers.First, and most importantly, Zip Tops are easier to clean. I simply run them through the dishwasher, held open by a few adjacent prongs in the rack, and they come out immaculate. The seal of Stashers fits together tightly all the way to the edges, which means that getting into the inside crease is very difficult, if not impossible, and makes them prone to mold. Stashers are good for foods or dry goods that aren't too liquid, moist, or sugary. Because Zip Tops have a seam that is less tight near the ends, they can be thoroughly and completely cleaned very easily by hand or by the dishwasher. For long-term storage of items that need to be VERY airtight (meat in a freezer, crispy crackers that need to avoid humidity), I admit that Zip Tops wouldn't work as well as Stashers, but I'd rather use a sealed jar or Tupperware-type container for chips. I don't freeze animal proteins. I use the Zip Tops to store frozen vegetables and they work great, but they aren't completely airtight, but I don't keep anything frozen for more than a month or two, so they aren't frozen long enough to freezer burn.Zip Tops are easier to seal than Stashers. The zip seams are thicker and more substantial and I find the Zip Tops easier to get to close. I have good manual dexterity and fine motor skills, not clumsy, stubby fingers like Fred Flintstone.Zip Tops are much thicker, stronger silicone. I have a Zip Top that I use for freeze dried cat food–raw "marshmallow" puffs of raw chicken and salmon–and I put a handful into a Zip Top and smash the meat puffs with a flat metal pounder disc to powder them before reconstituting them with water. I've been using the same Zip Top for this purpose once or twice a day for over 6 months and the container shows no sign or wear, not even scuffing. I tried this with a Stasher bag once and the silicone immediately tore and was perforated. That Stasher bag got upcycled into a silicone bookmark.The design of Zip Tops that allows them to stand up is very useful to me. I prep and freeze kale, squash, artichokes, rhubarb, and cooked grains and they easily sit neatly in my freezer door's shelf, like a row of books that I can visually scan through. When I'm chopping vegetables to fill them, the sit conveniently open like jars on the counter until I close them. It is important to leave enough room from the top so the edges have room to close without being too tight around the contents or the seal will pop open when freezing.I think that you might be able to find Stashers cheaper if you shop around for sales or go to remnant stores like Home Goods, TJ Maxx, or just the sale rack at grocery stores, but they ARE flimsy relative to the Zip Tops and harder to clean. If you need to economize, are storing food much longer term and need a more airtight seal, are planning on always being gentle with them, and don't mind digging into cracks with a toothbrush and feeling like you're trying to clean belly button lint out of a mouse's navel, Stashers are okay. I still use a little one to hold my bar soap at the gym, or to keep a chocolate bar fresh.If you want to be able to pound contents, stand the container upright to fill it, easily clean it, store containers on a shelf or rack, open and close it easily, and don't plan on storing items for more than a couple months, or don't have to contend with high humidity, Zip Tops are clearly the superior choice. The oldest ones that I have, which I originally purchased in a grocery store over a year ago, are indistinguishable from the newer ones.Silicone storage containers may save 5000+ disposable bags, but since one costs as much about 100 disposable bags, I have been investing in them slowly. It's worth it to me. I was washing (and drying) and re-using the disposable Ziplock bags and the silicone bags are easier to maintain and make for better freezer organization.

This is the smallest EDC snack container I have found that can be cleaned with your bare hands (no bottle brush/sponge accessory needed because of the wide opening). Much easier to deal with than filling reusable popsicle bags with snacks using 20mm powder funnel. This bag is not leakproof, the thick silicon zipper is a bit tricky to line up. I would recommend additionally folding the opening past the zipper and clipping it with a binder clip. Works great for dry snacks (nuts/carrots,etc) and the wide bottom means it can be used as an emergency cup.

This was my first reusable storage bag and we decided to get this for my baby's snacks. Since the puffs get easily crushed in a regular ziplock we gave this a try and overall it has been great. The only con is that it opens sometimes even if it is closed and filled up below the line they provide. So, I keep it up right in my structured bag but when it is tossed into a tote bag, it spills a few times. Maybe the one I got sent, the closure was weak? The quality of the storage bag itself is great, I wash it every day and nothing has peeled.

I absolutely love this product. My husband just picked it up from the house and I could not be more pleased with it's performance. I'm in the hospital for a brief stay, but I really like bringing a "touch of home" with me; call me crazy, but it's the little things that make it bearable. Like this product (I purchased the small cup, lavender.) Anyone knows that the food is fairly sub-par; you're here to heal, not to feast, obviously, so they do a good job, considering, but the crappy food and service industry serving utensils and dishes leave much to be desired. I purchased this for a specific reason: I love, love, love root beer floats. Can't get enough. If I see another hospital pudding cup, I might die just out of frustration. Here's where this beauty comes in. I get my husband to pick up some vanilla ice cream and some root beer (they have a fridge and freezer for medicine in the nurse's station, and are nice enough to let me utilize it sparingly.) This little cup stands up right and is completely waterproof when sealed, and the perfect size for a kids' size root beer float. I simply measure just enough out to enjoy at a time, seal it up, and take it back to my room; rinse and repeat. I can get quite a few nice ones out of a half-gallon and a 2 liter, for under $5 if the ice cream is on sale, and they're perfectly fresh. Easy as pie to clean and dry right at the hospital sink: hot water, some soap, seal and shake, rinse and dry, do it all over again later. The cup stands up right and doesn't tip over making a huge mess like cruddy styrofoam, which somehow manages to be top-heavy, no matter what you do (I've tried everything!), and awesomely leak-proof, so just perfect in general. Couldn't recommend it enough. Brings a (cheap!) taste and feel of home, and makes my day a million times better, no matter what. I'm sure that filling it with other things might require more thorough washing and scrubbing, but for this particular use, it's literally designed to be fool-proof and easy as heck. Buy this cup! You won't be disappointed. Or any of their other products - the silicone is great, I'm sure it performs great in microwave or in the oven, or in the freezer, and it is truly waterproof. Also a great price, and cuts down significantly on plastics and styrofoam usage. Go Earth (and root beer floats!)If my review helped you, please give me feedback! These work great for lunch and for snacks. They are easy to use and clean up very easily. I even use some in my tool box to hold small parts that I need quick access to use frequently. I can zip close the top at the end of my day, and I don't have screws all over my car the next day.My only caution is that they will leak liquids if turned upside down long enough. I recommend them only for dry foods, or for others more careful with liquids than I am. I don't trust baggies with liquids either, but I thought I would give these a test.

The media could not be loaded.  Io ho preso una coppa media ( capienza cir500ml) in colore brina ma come vede nel foto ha un colore ingiallita. Vabbe.. a parte questo cercavo questo prodotto da tenere nella borsa . Direi dimensione perfetta e non occupa troppo spazio e leggera. Però attenzione chi magari pensa questo prodotto ermetico. Non è cosi . Perde liquido dalla chiusa se contiene roba liquida. Quindi prima di acquistare valutatelo.

以前にスタッシャー シリコーンバッグを購入しましたが蓋をする部分が厚みあり過ぎて洗いにくく中が乾きにくく、食材の出し入りもやりずらい感じあまり使うことがなくなってしまったのですが、こちらのジップトップは上が広く作られているので扱いやすいと思いました。それと洗った後も口が開いたままになるので乾燥も早く衛生的だと思います。今回３点セットを購入してサイズが違いそれぞれ色々な用途に使えて気に入りました。食品の保存にレンジ料理にと活躍してくれています。今、一番ハマっているのがりんごを小さくカットしてレンチンして砂糖を後から入れて甘さを調節し、パンにバターりんご煮を一緒にのせてトーストするとかなり美味しいので何度もリピートして作っています。このジップトップは作るのも保存もそのまま出来るのでとても便利ですよ。今度は楕円タイプのも購入を検討しています。
