Great balance pad. The thickness and firmness are perfect for a balance pad. It is not too soft or too firm. It is wide and deep enough for a squat. I have used many types of balance pads and this one performs as well as the more expensive Airex pads. I have had many clients with various abilities and physical limitations use this pad with great success.There is a nice anti-slip texture on both side.The Airex pads seem to be made from one piece of foam, while this one looks like a few pieces put together. I am not sure if that is the case, and it has not effected performance. It could just be where the texturing stops on the sides.

Absolutely do NOT have shoes near it. Too soft for 190 pound man. Other brand pads are more firm. I realize most if not all of these pads shoes are an issue, but as I recall marketing photos show shoes on it-- I suspect if you keep 3 inches from the edges and /or are a light weight body then it might work, well not for long.

I like this balance pad for use in the office. It is too firm for use in a chair, I would suggest for standing use only. Good quality.

This is a good balance pad - equivalent to the more expensive ones. It serves the purpose and works well. I would buy it again.

This is great for balance exercises. I use it everyday. I do wish it was bigger.
