Blondo Women's Becca Waterproof Ballet Flat

I live in Pacific NW, so the idea of waterproof flats appealed to me. I have a couple of pairs of Blondo boots and am usually happy with the quality. My feet are true 6.5 in length, but since previous reviews varied with regard to sizing, I ordered 6.0, 6.5, and 7.0 to try. Funnily enough, 6 and 6.5 fit exactly the same. Not sure if the shoes were mis-marked or if it was a matter of manufacturing practices. I compared the bottom soles by putting them against one another, and the length were the same. My feet fit in both 6 and 6.5, but my big toenail hit the top of the shoe, and felt a little constricted. On the other hand, 7s were a little long, but because of the heel elastic they wouldn't fall off or anything. There was also a little more room around my toes. I'd rather have that wiggle room for wearing thin no-show socks or when my feet swell up, so I think I'd choose the 7s. But, the toes look more round and big with the 7s, whereas 6s and 6.5s look more streamlined, so it's a conundrum. I wish 6.5 came a bit bigger.

I usually wear an 8 but the 9 fit the best. The only problem with. The shoe is the top of the back rubbed against the back of my heel. I put on a pad which fixed the problem.

I ordered 1/2 size up for a perfect comfortable fit. Well made and have room for wider foot. Work in city where walking in weather is planned. Not easily scuffed. Bought a second pair in beige.

I LOVE Blondo shoes - but was very disappointed. All of my other pairs have fit well and not discolored when wet. These have changed color within one day of wear.

I recommend order half size up. I have two pairs of other Blondo shoes (love, love this brand) and those are somewhat bigger than these. Other than the sizing, the quality is exceptional. Very good leather, construction, and design. One of my favorite shoe brands.
