This device broke the second time i used it. I understand I may have a faulty product so I contacted the company via email. No Response. Maybe they didn't get my email I thought, so I sent a follow up a few weeks later. After three attempts I'm assuming they do not care to support their customers and now I'm stuck with a selfie stick that's disassembled in 3 useless pieces.It looks like a nice product but from my experience it's a piece of junk and a horrible company.On the other hand my Sony Action Monopod has taken a year of abuse and it's still kickin'

I ordered the Big U-Shot in dark grey. Its perfect to use with my GoPro 4. So far it has worked just as you would think. Its very light weight and has a metal look to it but is plastic. It extends to a decent length and does not slide when locked. To lock it you just twist it a quarter turn until there is tension. When you unlock it you hear 4 clicks (one from each joint) and then you can slide it up or down. One thing I really like is the screw on the bottom of it fits into a standard tripod mount so you can attach this to your tripod to add additional height.

Very nice quality, light weight aluminum, It's not as difficult to use as some may make it out to be. To lock and unlock is simple you twist clockwise to lock and counter-clockwise to unlock. You just have to make sure you use VERY LITTLE force to tighten it otherwise it will be difficult to unlock it again. Once you get that down its seamlessly a great monopod.Update: Mine broke and they without question offered to replace it great customer service on top of a great product.

Using it every Sunday to raise our video camera above everyone's heads.

handy as a mini tripod

First one fell apart So far the replacement is fine Easy return process, with no problems

Used this with a waterproof camera on vacation. Saved us from having to buy a GoPro. Great alternative and much cheaper.

It's good for GoPro but not good for a DSLR due to the weight of the camera.
