I have used this to refit a metal chimney to our chimenea which had broken due to rust and also filled in some cracks in my wood burner firebricks. It fixed the chimenea a treat. it is pretty thick to apply and I ended up making a rolled sausage out of the cement, applying it round the join and smoothing it using a spatula and a little water after refitting the chimney. This worked very well and after it had dried a little while I lit the chimenea and the fire cement did indeed set rock hard. The firebricks were a little less successful, it works fine for larger cracks where you can get a decent amount of material in and less well for thin cracks. Good product though, does exactly what it should and not expensive in my opinion.

The product can be applied easily but for some unknown reason it has bubbled in one or two places. Because it is in the fireplace it is invisible and appearance does not matter. It has not cracked after several wood fires, some very hot.

I was using this as a filler as much as anything and though relatively easy to apply I did find the area's that needed a lot of depth took a long time to set. if you do need to apply tick layers it may be better to do in layers rather than apply all at once.

E' un po' duro da lavorare, ma fa' bene il suo lavoro.

Mi ha risolto un problema non banale, alcuni mattoni refrattari staccati in un vecchio barbecue. Nessuno sapeva indicarmi un prodotto specifico e invece questo (che è già pronto da usare) mi ha risolto tutto rapidamente e facilmente. Solo un consiglio: aggiungete pochissima acqua al momento della posa in opera per aumentare la plasmabilità della malta.

Produit de qualité un peu difficile à étaler mais le résultat recherché est là ! Rendu parfait, couvre et comble bien les espaces à remplir, couleur gris très clair, durcit assez vite. Par contre j'aurais apprécié une notice en français (au moins en ligne sur le site d'Amazon) car c'est un produit vendu en Angleterre et les conseils d'utilisations et recommandations particulières sur le pot sont uniquement rédigés en anglais. Mais franchement c'est le seul inconvénient. Avant cet achat je m'étais renseignée sur la société qui fabrique ce produit et ils sont spécialistes depuis 1882 il me semble, alors sérieux et qualité au rendez-vous... Quant au service Amazon, chapeau ! Commande bouclée en 3 jours, délai plus court que prévu !!!

Se lo devi usare per stuccare piccole crepe forse fa il suo dovere... ma se devi riattaccare pezzi di barbecue che si sono staccati risultano soldi sprecati. Non fa presa, non è malta.
