This is a great soldering tip. It works really well and I've had 0 issues. I had the chisel tip that came with my hakko fx888d. It was not bad itself,but when I'm working on tiny electronics(like earbud circuit boards),I need something smaller. It melts solder and fits very well into small areas. Highly recommended. I use lead free solder by the way around 700 degrees Fahrenheit.

I dont love it.
I'll use my own words to describe how I feel about a product thank you Amazon.I'm a novice with this tool and my Hakko FX-888 but this tip helped to desolder an 8-pin ATX power connector from a desktop motherboard and replace it with a 90 degree connector. It was a difficult process for me as I had to add fresh solder to the old solder so it would melt enough to suck out. Then I had to file out each hole and each pin of the connector to fit it to the board. I did not anticipate the level of difficulty involved. The tip is of the highest quality I have ever worked with. I wish i would have had it when i did an all-white velleman LED cube.

Excellent tip for soldering in tight spaces.
This Hakko tip really carries concentrated heat for small solder jobs. It is a great match for the Hakko digital soldering station. I used this specifically for resoldering a connector on a DJI Phantom Drone. It really is superior to the general purpose tip that comes with the station for soldering small connections in tight spaces. I was surprised how well it carried and concentrated the heat. A dab of flux and a quick touch with this tip made great solder connections.

Hakko tips are the best! I wouldn't but anything else but the best! Don't even bother with those cheap chinese knock offs!

Great solder tip that makes your work turn out as it should. Works well when you have to do on the microscopic level.

It works as good as my original, just a little sharper tip.
I haven't had any problems with it and it sure helps a lot having the sharper tip.

I ordered the product for my uncle who works for a electric company. He really liked the product and asked me to order 2 more for his friend.
