So worth buying.
This book has so many interesting flavor combinations. I’d recommend this as a gift for foodies or anyone who wants to get adventurous in the kitchen. We’ve already tried 3 after having the book for about a month. All absolutely delicious. Super excited to try more! And also explore other books by this author.

Great cookbook with great recipes
Great cookbook. The authors of this book are at our favorite restaurant and because of COVID we’ve not been able to go. When we found out about this cookbook we ordered it and are happy we did. The recipes are easy to follow and prepare and are delicious. Kudos to them.

Amazing book! All foodies need this on their shelf!
This is an amazing flavor-centric book. This is definitely one of my favorites in the past year. They are masters at flavors that are balanced, delicious, imaginative, and frequently unexpected. Expect to be delighted. This is a book that all foodies need on their shelf.A different kind of green salad. Total keeper. This is a wonderfully exciting and balanced salad. It’s supposed to be all green, but the cantaloupe was more fragrant than the honeydew at the market that day. This will get a ton of summertime play in our house!Coco-slaw. This is a fun dairy-free, sugar-free alternative to cole slaw. It’s made with a coconut milk base rather than the usual mayo. It works! If you’re a sweet cole slaw person, you might want a pinch of sugar.Buffalo cauliflower bake. Terrific dip! I made this and the chicken mentioned next for the Super Bowl and the dip was the first thing to go on the table. Everyone loved it.Ginger beer-battered chicken fingers. We really liked this twist on chicken fingers. The ginger beer adds just a lightly nuanced complexity to it and the lime mayonnaise works really well with it. I had garlic mayo in the fridge, so ours with garlic lime. Totally recommend.Roasted beet salad. Citrus roasted beets over citrus and mint Greek yogurt with hazelnuts for a nutty crunchy element. Delicious.Spicy Bacon and Kiwi Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. Talk about an unexpected combination, but these are beautiful sandwiches. I love the sweet and spicy pops. These are not heavy like the traditional grilled cheese. The prerequisite recipe, the Ultimate Grilled Cheese Base, makes enough for 16 sandwiches. Don’t scale back. You are going to be so happy that’s waiting for you in the fridge!Brussels Sprouts Kebabs. Garlic everywhere, with Earthiness and warmth from cumin, tanginess from Greek yogurt, and bright lemon pop. I thought the skewers were overkill and just decorative since it was going in a grill pan, but I’ll do it again that way next time. LOL!Asparagus and Potato Chip Gratin. Oh my word. Yes! About 3 pounds of asparagus and mushrooms in a creamy herby sauce with sharp Gruyere and salty potato chip crunch. Amazing dish!Sicilian-Style Peach Salad. Just wonderful! I can’t wait for a do-over this summer when we have ripe peaches hanging from our trees! Peaches, fennel, and Castelvetrano olives with quick pickled onion and jalapeno and finished with fresh mint and feta.*I received a copy to explore and share my thoughts.

I've made many recipes (about 10 or more) from this book in a short amount of time. I haven't come across any recipe that I don't like. This is the best cookbook I've ever bought! I like how many of the recipes in here use ingredients that I get from my CSA. There's a recipe in here for everyone. I really like how the types of recipes have a wide range. Even though there are desserts in this book, I'm really glad it focuses more on real food and things we want to eat. The Braised Lamb with Mushroom Potato Gratin and Blue Cheese was the most amazing recipe we've tried so far. I felt like I ordered it from a fine dining steakhouse. It was the most incredible dish I've had in a long time. All of the pastas we've tried are excellent! My favorite pasta was the spring vegetable pasta with proscuitto with a lemony flavor. I keep telling people they need to go get this book. I wish I had gotten photos of everything we made. The different kind of green salad was great! A very interesting combo! This is a must buy cookbook!
