Bread slicer
Wife makes homemade bread. Slices the bread like a knife through hot butter. Works great. Like suction cups on the legs.

Not what it appears to be...
Started to use the cutter. Burning smell and over heating. Meat got stuck, pusher is hard to use and almost cut myself. Hard to clean. The first time I unscrewed the blade the bolt Broke. Returned it was not represented well.

Great slicer until broke while cleaning
This meat slicer was exactly what we were looking for and it was great for the first two uses. However, after the second use, the blade screw cover broke in half while cleaning and now the blade is completely unsecured.

can't cut well and doesn't lock to size
I don't know if my meat was too frozen, but I was having a hard time using this. I would set the size of the meat and when I start using it, the setting would move so my meat size is irregular. It also struggles to cut my frozen meat. Sometimes it can't even cut it. I don't know if I would pay money for this.

Nice slicer
Nice meat slicer. Works great slicing cheese.

Good mid range food slicer!
This is my first food slicer and so far I have cut a turkey breast and a large chunk of swiss cheese. It worked very well on the turkey breast, though at the thinner slice setting it did shred the meat a little. It is not whisper quiet, but very bearable to use sound-wise. It is very easy to adjust the thickness with the knob on the side, and simple to remove the blade for cleaning, you just untwist the center knob and it comes right off. Some food particles do get behind the blade but it's easy to turn the unit upside down and shake them out, everything else is very easy to wipe down and clean.The swiss cheese was a bit harder to cut. I had to cut off the rind and the really hard edge and slice into smaller chunks to slice, and then sometimes it would stall a little while cutting, though it did work through them, I couldn't slice them finer than the 1 on the dial. Still, however, it did a much better job than I could have at giving me even slices. If you won't a slicer for mostly hard cheese, I would buy something more heavy-duty, but if you want something to cut slices of meat primarily and the occasional cheese than this would be a good buy.
