Do these work as laying tools for embroidery?

The purple thang is designed for use in machine sewing. It pushes, pulls, and pokes fabric where it is needed. If you look at the pictures, it is not shaped like most laying tools. It has the square bit on the top and the bottom is slightly curved. It is a smooth plastic, so maybe?? I would say not.

In which country or countrie are these manufactured?

I’m not sure. Good question. China probably. It’ll be easy to tell now with some companies putting the USA flag to make it look like made in America but the emblem actually says stored in America.
