Rio Grande Roasters Premium Dark, Dark Roast Single Serve K-Cup, 12 Count

In my opinion, this is a weaker coffee than the ones I am used to. For example, I am used to San Francisco Bay coffees like Fog Chaser, Breakfast Blend and Donut Shop Blend. I would consider this a light-medium roast instead of just medium. I like it though. I just have to use 6oz of water instead of 8oz as they recommend. In fact, I can cycle two 6oz cups of water through the same Fog Chaser pod and it still seem stronger than 8oz of water cycled through one of these Mesa Sunrise cups (again, to me). 6oz of water seems best for my taste. 8oz is certainly tolerable for those who like their coffee a little thin.

I really like this coffee, just can't trust buying from amazon. Have ordered two boxes (100ct & 80ct) from different sellers, both were good looking and undamaged boxes, and both contained at least half of its contents deflated. Makes mess in machine and puts coffee grounds in cup. only this RG Roasters Mesa Sunrise. didnt happen with the RG Pinon or other sampler packs that I have purchased to replace this lousy experience with the Mesa Sunrise.

Have ordered this coffee several times without a problem, but this last box has had multiple “blowouts “ causing grounds to dump into the cup. Has happened with Premium Dark and Mesa Sunrise. This is a new issue for us with brand. Not sure that I would order again.

Very disappointed in this box of K-cups. Something is wrong with them because they make my coffee maker leak so coffee grounds go everywhere. I bought a new coffee maker and they still leak. I’ve ordered this product before and been very happy but this box sucks.

Coffee taste was average, but the pods were not sealed properly. The result was a complete mess to clean up with grounds in every crannie of our Keurig. Hoping it doesn’t cause a premature failure of the coffee maker down the road.

I brew my Kuerig cups on the largest size setting and this makes a nice cup of coffee. Full flavor, bold, and not overpowering. In my opinion, more flavorful than Green Mountain blends and less overpowering than Jet Fuel (though I love Jet Fuel and the bolder coffees).I will be buying this again. Nice all around blend.

This coffee is very weak. I normally purchase Caza Trail from Amazon and decided to try something new. WASTE of money. Not only is it a weak tasting coffee, some of the coffee grounds end up in your coffee. You can even see to the bottom of a 10 ounce cup weak! I normally run 6 ounces then 4 ounces on the Keurig with Caza Trail to get my 10 ounce "cup" of coffee. With this, the 4 ounces looked like weak tea running in my cup. It wasn't even dark. Don't waste your money. Would not recommend or EVER purchase again. My Caza Trail is on its way and I can't wait to get it!

Great value for the price..... not a really great coffee. I like it and will drink it, but there are so many "good" coffees out there to be had. This doesn't have the rich full taste of a good bold coffee, but it also doesn't have any bitterness either. So I would not feel bad about serving this to a guest that usually drinks a light or medium roast. It recommends using the 8oz setting and that's about right. Oh..... and it does have a hint of chicory, so the name is appropriate.
