Bought these so I could make some shorted feet for a bed (to help a disabled person get in more easily).I cut some lengths of timber into 60mm lengths, and drilled 6mm pilot holes in the timber for these bolts. They screwed in very easily BUT be aware - they use a #25 TORX screwdriver fitting to install. If you haven't got one of these you might have to use two nuts screwed against each other on the bolt end to drive these in.Once screwed in the feet screwed onto the bed with no trouble.I'm very happy with the result. Well worth the money.

We have a wooden curtain pole which had wall brackets but dissapeared during decoriting, thee are brilliant becuase you can drill 3 holes in the masory instead of 6 or 9,providing as good, if not better strength fixing.I want to build a summer house and I'll be holding on to some of these for that, I'll use with some wingnuts to make a fold out table.

I used these like dowels for the shelves of a built-in floor to ceiling bookcase. Very robust and easy to use. Only downside is the hex head is easily stripped by the driver unless it fits perfectly.

Did the job nicely.

A lot of messing about buying different sizes as I did not know the circumference of the whole the second-hand cat tree needed as it didn't come with any. Got there in the end.

Well made and strong, some sharp edges but not life threatening.

Too soft for my use. When driving these into a hole, one slip on the socket and the metal is chewed up.May be ok for light duty use
