FilofaxPersonal Week on two pages English Monday start 2021 diary

I have used a 'Deskfax' for many years liking the week on two page layout and the daytime hourly entry slots. This year I was unable to secure a refill from 'Filofax' directly, each enquiry saying the item was unavailable. Eventually, after a reminder 'mail' from Amazon, I was able to purchase my refill but it had to come from America. As it turned out it arrived 7 days earlier than expected and all in good 'nick'. Not sure why I was not able to purchase the item in the normal way in this country, but glad, with Amazons help, I was able to secure the item!!!! Only problem was it incurred import duty and was considerably more expensive than other years!!!!!

If you still use a paper Filofax diary, this is a great one. Not too bulky, not too small to write those vital appointments/work shifts/social dates etc. Good quality, fits perfectly in the Filofax binder. Not exactly cheap, but with Filofax, you get what you pay for. I like that there is more room for Monday-Friday engagements, and smaller boxes for Sat/Sun. If this isn't your preference, I think there is a version which starts on Sunday, and has equal-size sections for every day through the week. All down to personal choice. Pleased to find this through Amazon.

I love Filofax: it’s old school and makes me actually write things down. I’m not, nor have I ever been, a yuppie. Don’t suppose kids these days know what one of those is, something from the past, down there with the Victorians. It’s all very well having these smart phones and things, but you can’t beat real writing. That all sounds very dated and something an old un would say, but I’m a bit on the simple side. Not the sharpest of cats when it comes to tech, so this does me fine.

I've been using these for years and as I keep my diary pages in an archive, you notice the cheaper quality diary pages tend to fall apart.These are a good quality paper which do not bleed fountain pen ink.

Great official product, the paper is a better quality than the alternatives which I’ve found are really thin so writing shows through from other side.I know it’s old school but I like to write appointments and important dates in these rather than relying on my phone as I have lost my phone and it takes a few days to get a replacement and have had a child wipe my iCloud calendar before which was a nightmare 😭

So far this is working out just fine for 2021… no hidden surprises with each month following the next and all the days in each month in perfect order as time marches on. Can’t vouch for the months that haven’t passed yet at the time of writing this review, but have no reason to think that there will be a problem with this, but I will update the review if I find anything amiss!

Second year running that I have bought this product. Pleased with it, does what I need it for. Been using a Filofax for 30 years. Bought myself a decent leather one 20 years ago and will continue to buy these refills. Used to use W.H. Smith’s but they are almost twice the price and the two local stores have now closed. Value for money.
