Bought dog harness for a big male cat after I could not get large cat harness on him! The design is perfect and is very easy to use for cats. I have used the same design/brand in a cat harness for about 5 years. I walk my older cat every day. The new cat is more like a small dog in size and he likes his harness fine.

Good harness. Easy to put on and off. The X brace does slip from side to side as your dog is walking, but it doesn't affect effectiveness. If your dog pulls on the leash, the strap around the neck will pull tight and you may want to loosen it to leave a finger width of space for comfort. I had a dilemma because my dog has a girth of 18 inches, and both this and the 12-18 inch version would fit. This one was a bit large looking on her, though it did fit. The smaller one also fit, but was lighter and thinner and looked better on my small breed dog. If you have a dog that is under 20 pounds with a chest diameter of about 18 inches, the smaller version may be better for you. I had to order both to see which would actually fit better and ended up using the smaller one. I leave it on all the time as it is comfortable and then my dog is already ready--always.

Plastic plate could be lighter but understand design; works well. Figure 8 harness is secure and provides control without cinching to harm cat. Holds adjusted size perefectly and wider straps/web better than smaller cat harness

Had a hell of a time finding a harness for my overweight cat. This company makes cat harnesses but the pet store didn’t carry a size that fit. I tried the dog one- same design, a little thicker nylon, goes on easy, and doesn’t construct his fur anywhere.He still hates going out, but we’re working on that.

I'm so sorry these are no longer readily available as they are just the best harnesses. Simply drop the loop over your dogs head and snap the cross-straps closed under its chest and you're ready to go. No trying to make your dog step through loops, no wrestling thick materiel over, under and around your dog who, if its like mine, will be too excited to put up with all that. The harness is fully adjustable and stays where you set it with a sturdy adjustment slide. The rubber place where the bands cross is thick and securely holds the swivel hook for your leash. The design is simple, construction is sturdy and it's also washable. I've used these for three different dogs (XL, L and SM) over 15 years and have been completely satisfied with all of them.

This color is so great true to size and great to stay on.

Harness was as expected, but was supposed to fit 18”-24”. My dog is 21” and would not even fit around his girth! Maybe was marked wrong? Not sure.

Great product and excellent design.I have used these hanesses for many years. However, I purchased this harness for my elderly parents to use on their dog because of the simplicity and the products durability.Unlike so many of the harnesses on the market, this one does not have a bunch of adjustment points or multiple buckles. Once you have it unadjusted for your dog, you can put it on or take it off with with the one buckle. This makes it easy to take this on and off an impatient or hyper dog.Unfortunately I can no longer find these harnesses at my local Petsmart or Petco.
