Excellent mount, especially for the dollars. I was looking for a versatile mount that would extend far from the wall. I was planning to get a 24 to 28inch TV weighing around 20 lbs or so. I anticipated this mount should easily hold this size TV and I was right. I can't answer if the mount would hold a 55lb TV but it is a lot more sturdy than I needed for my TV. I wanted a mount that could mount to either a 200mmx200mm or 400mmx400mm pattern and this one could do both. My Viewsonic 24" TV had the 200x200 and the extra size mount didn't stick up or get in the way of my connections. Very sturdy and compact with a 20" extension. I put in the lags making sure the mount was plumb but the TV mount (not the part attached to the lags - that is fixed once you attach it to the wall) was easy to adjust if the monitor is out of plumb/level. I received the mount in 3 days with regular shipping and I couldn't be more satisfied.

I can't believe that the mount is as inexpensive as it is. I installed the mount in about 5 minutes. It installed with two of the lag screws provided to the wall studs. The mount is very sturdy and handled my 32" Vizio with no problem. The mounting plate matched the screw holes in the back of the TV perfectly. All Hardware was in the box. Great Product, Easy install. Will buy another when I buy my next TV.

I bought this to replace another mount that worked well, it just didn't extend far enough for us to be able to turn the TV 90 degrees. This was just the mount we were looking for. Very sturdy and we can turn the mount wherever we need it. We used it to mount a 24" monitor.

This wall mount was very easy to install and the TV was mounted and working within 45 minutes. We actually purchased 3 of these for all of the flat screen TV's in our home.

I was a bit skepticle at first not really sure if it would hold the weight. I installed it with know problem within 15 minutes and this product works tremendously. More than I expected.The extension capability is roughly 18 - 24 inches max and only 3-4 inches retracted. The tilt and swivel functions have enabled me to view my TV (Vizio) easily from the my bar.I would recommend this product to anyone who has a compadable tv.

I got this mount for a 22 inch vizio and it works great. The only problem I found is because of it's design it takes 2 people to hang the tv, or 1 very flexable person lol.

I installed this in about 20 minutes, (You'll need a decent stud finder) and it is very sturdy and has very good movement capability. Including the level and HDMI cable is a nice touch, and this unit is a superb value at this price. I looked in several "big box" retail stores and couldn't find anything comparable at twice the price I paid at Amazon..
