Oh my gosh this is much quicker and easier than the probe types to get an accurate reading. The no touch is a bit of a faff with a 1yo so you just place it on the forehead between the eyebrows and in 2 seconds you get a reading. Saw they used Braun in the nursery where they were telling us our child had a temperature, while our previous thermometers weren't. So now we can quickly check without much drama before dropping them off in the morning. Bit pricey for what it is but, it's good quality and should last a lifetime.

I find the water temperature readings unreliable, but taking a forehead temperature seems pretty reliable. Seems more accurate if you touch it to the forehead, but the "no-touch" option also is pretty good as long as you hold it close enough and hold it still. It does state 0.2degree difference in readings, which is what I have found and that's fine! (For example, first reading will be 36.7, second reading right after 36.9). Easy to use and easy to read. Nice to have the silent option too. Quite expensive but glad I bought it. Much easier to take my 1 year olds temperature with this compared to a standard digital thermometer.

I’m really disappointed with this thermometer. The main purpose of a thermometer is accuracy, and this one simply doesn’t deliver. I tested it multiple times and compared the readings of hospital therometer, and the results were consistently off. This is especially concerning because I bought it to monitor my baby’s temperature. When it comes to health, even a small inaccuracy can lead to unnecessary worry or, worse, missing a fever. The build quality feels okay, but that doesn’t matter if the readings can’t be trusted. I’ve tried following the instructions carefully, but the issue persists. I would not recommend this product to anyone who needs reliable temperature readings. It might be cheaper than others, but it’s not worth the risk.

The item was delivered very quickly (before the expected date) and as ordered. We bought this to replace an existing Braun in-ear thermometer that has served us well over the last 18 years and still working. We chose Braun for the reputation, reliability and the fact that it is no touch forehead thermometer. which allows the temperature to be taken easily. The item is as described and as ordered. Supplied instructions are precise and clear. Batteries are also included to allow the thermometer to be used on delivery. Temperature can be taken in seconds with the added advantage to no touch with a light beam to help you aim the thermometer. Does not require additional purchase of covers like hose used on in ear thermometers. The temperature range is colour coded, with red for very high which is a very quick alert. It can also be used to measure the temperature of liquids. I would highly recommend this thermometer from our experience

Usual Braun quality - well made, feels quality etc...but...this is a bit of a random number generator when it comes to temperatures. It regularly comes up with suspicious readings. You can repeat a test on the same head, and get a different number. Seems to be under reading too, often reading mid 35Cs - this is fine, but not something we've seen with previous thermometers. It's troublesome, as we can't really trust it at the moment. Maybe when one of the family is actually ill, and genuinely has a temperature, it'll bring its A-game then.

Why did you choose this product over others?: It seems the box has been opened. But seems noy been used. I do like the inside design, well protected, not wasye material, and easy to open. quick and the result arw constant. Speed: quick Quality: great

Tried 3 other different temperature meter for my forst newborn baby all of them were terribly inaccurate. This is super easy, usable for the whole family, without contact so not needed to clean every time, no hussle just check the middle of the forehead and done. Cant recommend enough!

I bought this for myself as an adult. It's very easy to use, the display is big and easy to read. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable digital thermometer that can be used with babies, toddlers and adults.

J'ai pris ce model car il est possible de prendre la température du bain de bébé ainsi que la température du corps. Vous avez 3 tranches d'âges 0-3 mois - 3-36 mois - +36mois . On choisi la tranche d'âge concernée en appuyant sur le bouton avec le petit bonhomme et ensuite on positionne le thermomètre à 2,5 max du front entre les deux yeux. Concernant le bain, on peut prendre la température en appuyant sur le bouton où il y a la goutte d'eau. Positionner le thermomètre au dessus de l'eau. Avantage : - Assistances, guidage avec la lumière pour le placement du thermomètre. - rapide en 2 secondes vous avez la bonne température. -prise de température de l'eau ( bain - cuisson...) -pile fourni - son du bip modifiable pratique la nuit quand bébé dort. Inconvénients : - Non étanche - non rechargeable, fonctionne à pile - pas de petit sac de transport. Je recommande tout de même ce thermomètre qui reste très fonctionnel, rapide . Très bon rapport qualité-prix.
