Awesome peice of equipment lt helps with the weight of the battery and put s it on your back instead of on the tool just awesome

The battery backpack is needed for the HD Comercial trimmer but it made weed eating a lot easier. Fit great, easy to put on and use and is comfortable to wear! I like it!!!

Been switching over all my outdoor tools to Ego for the extra run time compared to my Makita 18/36V tools, so much more run time. While I really like the Ego stuff, the one thing is the batteries really add some weight. They are much bigger batteries with more juice, so can't blame them for being what they are suppose to be. Not knocking the batteries.So, figured this backpack would be a handy accessory, my wife even more so. She tried it on with a 5Ah battery and the blower attached and she really likes it. Sure takes the weight off the tool. Plus it's easy to hook up, easy switching between tools as well. I also thought it would be even more useful if I get bigger batteries like the 10Ah and the new 12Ah (big prices though).For me though, so far it just seems to pull down on my back, just does not feel super comfortable. It's not bad, just feels awkward? Not sure how to explain it. I don't hate it and maybe once I get it, or mess with the adjustments, it might be better. And it will still be worth it for the lower tool weight.Seems it could have been designed a little better. That is just my opinion.Very handy accessory, just might not be comfortable to every one. I don't regret buying it.

Works great with multi head attachment tool when attached to pole saw, and leaf blower because the extra weight of the battery is carried on your back.

FYI this unit has been discontinued and yet they still sell it with the known issues.My unit requires the backpack battery setup which I bought along with this and the commercial blower.The power plug connects to the trimmer but does not stay connected, it simply falls out. There is no retention clips like with all their current products (likely the reason they discontinued). Well with the plug falling out literally every 10-20 seconds makes this not fu action at all.Customer service was horrible! They refused to tell me if this was a known issue and said I have to take it to a service center. Which is 30 minutes from where I live.No thanks! Brand new units don’t need service, they need returned if broken.Now I just need to determine if I return all 10,000$ worth of zero turn mower, snow blower, blowers, chargers and batteries.When I told her all I bought and I was concerned about quality, she just told me to return it all.Wow! Never had a company so quick to just want you to return over 10k worth of products.What a joke of a company. May have been Geo the rep, but the rep is the company as far as I’m concerned.

I was getting back soreness from using my Ego string trimmer and edger with 5 ah and 7.5 ah heavier batteries. I couldn't position the tool given its design and weight distribution to avoid it. I have long term back issues.This backpack...saves my back, may do the same for you if that is an issue for you.Like all my Ego tools its well designed and quality built,

this seems to be a decent Ego product. The HT2501 is for sure the best hedge trimmer in my opinion. This one seems to be alright, nice blades, good fit while maneuvering, but it doesn't articulate sideways like the HT2501.

Pour le poids c’est correct reste à savoir pour le reste mais ça me semble correct c’est une batterie de 12 ampères sur un chasse à main neige au bout d’une heure ça commençait à faire lourd ce sont de bons produits performant
