So I wasnt sure what to expect with these. They are something that have quality worse than dollartree or china. They are most likely made in China. They are cheap plastic that are to cover your cam. They do not open much or you can easily break them. We have both a HP laptop and a Macbook air. I tried putting one on my Air and it made my computer screen change colors. So this will mess up your computer, DON't use it. Will destroy computer screen

I shared the covers with friends because frankly I only had use for two. But they are on 4 different types of computers and while some were more snug then others they do the job. I purchased for look and functionality. I am a kid at heart so I use mine to chit chat with during projects because it’s either that or admit I have a habit of talking to myself.(HP Envy, surface pro 3, Acer, and something else)

I'm not sure what I'll do with the other 4 but the product works and does make me chuckle. =)I previously had an adhesive cover that had a window that would slide open. It worked well until I started having a lot more Zoom meetings and then the adhesive wasn't sticking as well.The design is funny . It kind of looks like there are hands on a sign though so I wrote hi on mine. (I used a dry erase marker so I can change it.)

At over $2 each, they are cute, but you better have use for all 5 and want to pay top dollar to keep adhesive off your devices like I did. No problem closing MacBook with them on -- leaves a little gap but magnets still engage and Mac goes to sleep appropriately. Note: will not fit on phones easily. Barely fits over iPhone 5s without a cover. Won't fit on a iPhone 7 Plus with a Airbag-type clear cover. Also won't fit on a Samsung Galaxy with a TPU-type bumper case. So the use case is primarily laptops and tablets, since there's just not enough clearance between the front and back of the clip, and it's not really adjustable. It flexes a little since it's plastic, but I feel like if I force it open beyond about a millimeter extra, it will bend and lose its shape or snap.

They are definitely different and get asked frequently where I got these. For the most part they work well to block the camera, however they are a little long for the newer tiny bezels on most devices. To compensate you have to let it sit high so as not to block a small portion of your screen. If you are using it on a device with a screen protector it will damage the protector. I was able to slightly modify one with a dremel to cut off a slice from the bottom edge so that it can sit fully on my Surface Pro and ground a bit of a beveled edge to prevent damaging the screen protector. Overall was able to make it work with a little effort so if you are willing and have a few minutes to modify it works well for smaller devices.

Cute little clip-on camera covers to keep you safe.Are they cheap? Yes. Are they cutesie? Yep. Made in China? Yes as they're even stamped that way ... But they're not junky or garbage. And they work better than my previous solution - binder clips.The eyes add a bit of whimsy and a place to grab the cover to slide or remove. They clipped easily to my laptops (2 different Dell and a Lenovo) without any issues on fit.These are better for me that those tape-on slide covers and are better for me than those styles. They fit better than those tape-on slide things because the frame around the laptop screen is different between different screens.Bottom line - they're not expensive and will easily do the job.

I ordered these for privacy reasons, to cover the camera on my devices, maybe protect it from hackers.The device works fine, but I have to manually pull it open and apply it very carefully, take it off the same way. This is because the plastic is very hard and there is no squeeze clip/handle to open and close it. If I just push it on, I’m not sure the hard plastic won’t scratch or damage the screen of my tablet or my laptop computer. As long as I apply them slowly and carefully, I haven’t had a problem.

They are plastic...wish they would have been made from rubber
