I have a stinkier cheapo neoprene brace that was half the price of this, though this is still about half the price of the 3M branded one. This is much better quality than my stinky one, much more comfortable and has no smell after a hand wash.One wrist has bad pain symptoms of carpal tunnel, I bought a second one for my other wrist that’s a little less bad but still gets a twinge. I find the cheaper one gets itchy quite quickly, this one is noticeably better.Very comfortable and still a reasonable amount of support and movement without the splint bits (I think my wrists get strained against the splint while sleeping). I have a small frame with 14cm wrists, I wear the child Fitbit bands. This fits me very well, so the one size may be less of a good fit for larger wrists, and I think anyone with smaller wrists will have problems finding where to put the closures.It’s set up for right wrist out of the packet, just swap the splints around for left wrist. The splint pockets have Velcro flap closures at the bottom, easy to open and keeps them secure otherwise. Front splint is light rigid aluminium, back splint is two bits of flexible clear plastic, you could probably get a good in between amount of support putting one plastic strip in each side instead.Great value, versatile & good quality splint. Only concern I have is I need to have the Velcro hook side stuck to the more normal fabric instead of the strips of fuzzy hook-receiving velcro, I’m not sure if it’s designed for that and if it’ll wear out, it’s already a bit fluffy looking.

Works as described. I feel that its a bit tight on the thumb though. Good and breathable material

Really sturdy and strong support, absolutely great in that respect. Soft padding under the supports stops them digging in. There can be some minor chafing around the lower thumb section but a plaster on the skin under the support will fix that quickly. I really don't thing that these can be beaten at all at this price point, and I'm not convinced a more expensive product would do any better with the minor chafing that can happen. Definately considering a second pair so I can wash these. The support strips are removable so not only can you use left or right but the product can be washhed in a machine with them removed. Really good quality they have certainly exceeded my expectations.

Great support (much better than the hospital ones) but I’m finding it’s digging into my lower thumb and causing a bit of pain. Tried a plaster but still seems to dig in, looks like the stitching is out of line so that’s what causing the pain. Great splint though, the support with it is fantastic just wish it wouldn’t dig in so much.

and broke my ulna. After the plaster came off the hospital put my wrist & lower arm in a brace. It quite quickly got a bit smelly & wet so I obviously needed another one. I bought this one & it's very comfortable, I also got one from the makers of the one I had been wearing from the hospital Knowing how clumsy I am I feel sure they will come in handy again.An afterthought PS - my sister lives in California & 2 weeks after I broke my arm, she fell over in her garden & broke her ankle! Cie la vie!

Works for left and right arm just by moving the metal piece to the required side, great wrist brace !

This is a great product if you have small wrists!It's a single wrist brace which is universal, so you can swap the stays over depending on which wrist you want to use it on.The brace itself seems well made and padded. The material is favourable compared to neoprene, which smells awful after one wear. This seems a lot more breathable, and the padding around the stays means they won't dig in to your skin. I also loved the addition of velcro to secure the stays in - with my previous splint, the metal stay would slip out of its holder and dig into my skin which was really uncomfortable. That won't happen with this brace.However, it's advertised as "one size fits most", but it's definitely not. After 30 mins of wearing, it was causing more pain than it helped. When I loosened it, the stays weren't in the right place and it was uncomfortable. I'd describe my wrist/forearm as medium and it just wasn't a good fit for me.

I use this every day and it gives me so much more things I can do it fits well and is worth getting

Great full stabilizing brace! The three strap design helps you get the perfect amount of tension. I found the lower strap a bit long. I like that there is a flexible piece in the back that still lets you do things. The palm is a bit thick if you are planning to do a lot of precision use of a computer mouse, but that's not my goal. Both inserts are removable for easy cleaning. Not the coolest brace, without many breathable features, but not an oven, easy to get on/off, and simple to adjust for fluctuating pain and inflammation levels.

As someone who struggles with carpal tunnel for years, this is a very comfortable brace! It's very light weight and fits well. Best to use at night as it provides lots of support and my wrist does not hurt as much in the morning.
