Note that these will hyper flash in a turn light. As backup they are about 2x brightness of old school bulb, nice quality appearance. Hope they last. Installed Ford E350 SD, '06

Best Choice for LED Upgrade
I bought these LEDs to replace the conventional 1157 bulbs in my classic vehicle.I purchased these along with four other 1157 LED substitutes, with the goal of singling out the brightest and highest quality LED. I ended up keeping these LEDs, in part because they impressed me with the quality of construction. These LEDs have good weight, and use a nice amount of aluminum in their construction.As for brightness, these LEDs are rated to give off 1600 lumens each (the 3200 lumens listed in the description is a combined value). The two other LEDs that actually functioned gave off 1000 and 1260 lumens each.That being said, there was not a significant noticable difference between the light given off by this LED and the others once installed. In fact, there wasn't even too much of a difference between the LEDs and the old Halogen bulbs.As for value for money, these LEDs at approximately $7.00 each were the most expensive LED I bought.I ended up keeping these LEDs as, despite the higher price tag, they impressed me more than the other options. Even though the difference in brightness was not as great as I expected, I still kept these on the off chance that they are brighter.These LEDs are a great upgrade for an older vehicle. They illuminate much faster than conventional bulbs when you depressed the brake pedal, and give off more light. The safety benefits of this are extremely important as this will reduce the likelyhood of being rear-ended when the brake lights are not noticed.I recommend these to anyone looking to make a quick and easy safety upgrade on their classic car.

Disappointed - Not as brite as other brands
I bought these bulbs to replace the incandescent headlight bulbs on my garden tractor. I specifically chose them because of the advertised high lumen output. I have no way to scientifically measure the lumen output of these bulbs, but they appear not nearly as bright as another brand I bought previously. These bulbs are advertised for use in backup lights, brake lights, turn signals, etc. They "might" be bright enough for tail lights and side marker lights, but in my opinion they are not suitable for use in backup lights, brake lights, or turn signals: Incandescent 1156 bulbs actually appear brighter.

These bulbs are so good that l mm using them throughout my motorhome for all the different application (1156 & 1157)

Works great, but not the bulb I ordered.
These bulbs work great without any issues. The only problem is that the bulbs are different from the ones I ordered. They work fine, so not really a problem.

Work Great!
Very good replacement for 1157 bulb. I'd like them a little brighter, but the contrast between the running light and the brake/directional is very acceptable.
